I know this is old but maaaan this has gotta be one of the best reaction videos I've seen. A lot of people do fake hype reactions, but this is so genuine I can feel it, and the hype is appropriate because this video is mind-blowing! Still one of the best dance videos I've ever seen. And yes, they were quite literally hungry at the time... at this time they were skipping meals, struggling to pay rent, and nearly disbanded several times, but they took that hunger and used it as motivation to become so good that people would be forced to take notice!

Dionysus original dance practice is better. Their dancing is so much cleaner than the mma ver cuz the mma ver was a rehearsal not a dance practice

When you said 'they were hungry', yes you are right. This song 'Danger' is the title track of their 1st full studio album (after 3 mini albums) DARK&WILD, released in August, 2014. Their label cum management company was still not strong financially at the time, so this album was considered a 'do or die' for them. They were desperate and gave it all out. I'm amazed that you could sense their determination through this dance practice alone. Among industry players in SK, BTS dance style has always been described as 'razor-sharp' 😊.

Lol this was back when their choreography was still firm and isolated but over the years as they gotten older its became more firm and loosen because they've been focusing on more freestyling and individuality within the group.

this is still my favorite bts dance practice as you said you can feel the hunger and energy they were giving and it’s true because during those years they had a lot of people doubting them so they were eager to prove everyone wrong and look at them now they’re the most successful group

They would practice like that for about 13 hours everyday to the point of collapse but now I think its like reduced down to maybe between 6 to 12 hours a day.

I so enjoy your reaction videos to BTS’ dance practices. In 2016 I saw a video for BTS dance practice. I didn’t know who they were I just clicked on the video because I enjoy watching people that can dance (I can’t dance, but admire those who do). I watched every dance practice of theirs that was on KZbin and I was so impressed with these amazingly talented young men that I started loving their music! I am such a fan of BTS and I’m not your typical fan, I’m 69 years old and own all their albums. These guys are the very best!

You're right, they were hungry. BTS would practice til they passed out to make sure their choreography and performance would be perfect. At the time, everyone in the industry was telling them they would fail and that it didn't matter how hard they worked because they came from a small company. BTS took all the criticism and bs from people and turned it into their motivation to work even harder; clearly it payed off. BTS are definitely more confident in themselves and their status now. They don't feel the need to do constant strong and sharp choreography (although they're amazing at it) and just do whatever feels right for the song (like adding contemporary for Black Swan). But no matter how much they blow up, they remain humble and work tirelessly to give back the love and support we give them. Stan a group that stans you back 💜

Its true. If you watch old BTS videos, dance practices, performances, there is a fire in their eyes, a hunger to prove themselves. Their choreo has always been tight, their execution always on point. After all theyve been thru, they now have developed individuality and were allowed freedom on execution. Not to say that theyve relaxed, no. Theyre always reinventing themselves and honing their skills in any and all aspects of music.

This is literally my favourite bts dance practice so i get super happy whenever someone reacts to it, ESPECIALLY dancers. Like yall said you can SEE the hunger in them and the accuracy and sharpness and formation and power and just everything is literal perfection. 2014 was not the best of days for BTS; they recorded most of the songs for this album in LA in a garage, Big Hit called in favors for equipment. BTS was shooting their reality show "American Hustle Life" AND recording their first full-length album "Dark&Wild", that's the crazy schedule and pressure (financial, emotional, physical, mental) they were under. But they did not skimp when it came to quality; the members, agency, management and staff, as always, put forth their best efforts for content and we are the beneficiaries. I think your reaction attests to that, all these years later. Their mindset going into each project may change with regards to their goals, but they will always (always) put in the effort that cannot be quantified. I believe that is one of the reasons that contributes to their stratospheric success (there are "n" number of reasons but that's just one). Again, great reaction, thank you!

If you love clean choreo I also suggest you check out A.C.E dance practices. They were the only group (after BTS 😜) that I found that is SUPER clean and on point. You’d probably really like them. Hello there, an older ARMY (fan base of BTS) here. Nice to meet you guys. You said in the previous video, that there are not many singers who Can dance and sing at the same time. But BTS is always singing live. Not in the dance practice of cours. You know how the practice for singing and dancing. They run on a hometrainer and sing at the same time, so they practice their breeding. There are always very tired at a live show. And they do like MJ very much. Sorry if I made some riding mistakes. unfortunately it wasn’t until around 2016 when they won their first prestigious award that other people started fully respecting them as artists. all of their older videos pre-2016/15 show their ‘hunger’ and need to prove themselves. they’re so admirable in the fact that they never ever gave up on what they were doing even when they were accused of things such as plagiarism and had hashtags trending about getting them to disband

2019 MMA full live performance is 37 minutes but I would love it (and so would you) if you went to 19:04 and press play. This second half of their performance (Dionysus) is one of the BEST live performances I've ever seen. Also FYI: BTS is doing 4 LIVE concerts in L.A., Nov 27, 28 & Dec 1 & 2. At the SOFI stadium. I'm a concert whore and I've never seen any other act do a 3 hour concert, leaving every ounce of their blood sweat & tears on that stage like BTS. It is petal to the metal. LIT!

Bts came from a very small company so they are always on the threat of disbanding and bankruptcy. When you say they are hungry, they are HUNGRY, they are desperate, they are angry. Their earlier choreo are all made by their in house choreography Mr. Son Seung Dok, his style is Sharp, angles, intense and explosive. He still works with the company. And back then, their boss, the head of the company checked their dance practices with his hand on the space bar, actually checking frame by frame to see whether they are in sync from their heads, to the angles of their hands.

They have a intro performance trailer that they did, the background for this video is their answer on the bad camera work when they did this live on MBC 20141231, they did this as an intro to Danger. Another performance practice is the SBS performance practice 2013 in this Suga isn’t preforming, he was recovering from his appendix operation. In his place is their dance teacher. Other performance is for different awards shows from examples golden disc award, sma, mama first performance 2014 with Block B the have performed every year sense, melon first performance 2013 and have preformed every year sense, some memorable performance are 2016, 2018 and 2019 that are the longest performance they done on a award show it’s over 37 minutes long. They have done collaborations with different artists ex Vixx, 2pm, Got7. They have also done covers examples Perfect Man, Rainism and Born Singer this last one is a cover of Born Sinner.
