Your like me I always expect to much out of some of my rigs. My problem is then I start to upgrade them to much I have a TRX M 1:18 scale Defender & I didn’t like it I upgraded & still didn’t like it. But after fixing a few minor things on it went back out & had a blast I was just expecting to much out of it. I’ve seen people do alot of modifications on the Danshee so hopefully the will work on the new one as well. 🤙

Very much so, a aftermarket chassis setup would be ideal that is lower center of gravity. The axles Deff need more weight, but the truck needs a more front forward weight bias. It's a good trail truck stock, I stopped upgrading these rigs and got a vanquish VRD stance. World of difference

Right on man.Those tires are a little to large for the ridgerunner thus making it flip over end to easily.I would stick with a 1.9 beadlock wheels and try no tire larger than a 4.75 in any proline with the predator compound and stock foams with wheels balancing weights added to the front beadlock rings only. The Danchee is so light is does not need dual stage foams. I just slapped on a set of jconcepts ruptures in green compound on my Danchee that originally had proline trenchers predator compound.Both are great tires.My Danchee has been lowered using pen springs on the inside shocks. I now have several crawlers but still love the wheel the Danchee it’s really fun on those smooth flowing keep the momentum going type of lines.

You can remove the spring cups, it will lower the suspension and center of gravity (less ground clearance tho'). you can add automobile stick on wheel weights on top of the front servo, making the front heavier..

Hi! I have a couple of questions, is the ridgerunner worth the extra cost compared to the ridgerock and is the ridgerunner a lot better?

They are both nice entry level crawlers and trail trucks.

They are pretty much the same build other than the chassis and portal axles. I feel the Ridgerunner is nicer because of the portals, but both could use better electronics for the moa system they use. I now have a vanquish VRD stance that is built up nicely. Lost interest in the redcats.

those hyrax 2.2 LP... when I ordered 2 sets, the inserts were for its larger size.. both sets came with the wrong inserts.. did yours? Those LPs are nice because they are similar to stock size on the ridgerock

The inserts were a white foam. Not sure if they are the 2 stage inserts. I was told they would work for the stock beadlocks I have on the Ridgerock, so that's why I got them. Seems to do great with the Ridgerock, but too much for the ridgerunner

Appreciate you making these vids, there is basically nothing on the Ridgerunner on YT. Does the body fit on the Ridgerock?

No they have different mounts. The ridgerunner has top body post mounts. The Ridgerock has side body post. I believe you could swap the Everest 10 body with the Ridgerock

@@The561CrawlerThanks, was considering more scale bodies for the Ridgerunner so was curious if they swapped. Much easier to search for Ridgerock and get answers than Ridgerunner. BTW, I've been absolutely having a blast with my Ridgerunner
