I've been watching many videos of the Dalek at conventions and I don't know much about Dr. Who but I think there are high comedic potential for the Daleks. Maybe they should try to make a sitcom or a late night show.

Yes and no. In doctor Who Lore, they are cunning, reckless, highly inteligent, highly racist living killing machines, that allways manage to survive the doctor. Meanwhile past the 11th doctor, daleks started to be a bit more of a joke. Also, with their weird design, they got some comedic parodies around them
