The worse part is that they are not nurses. “Licensed assistants” that when the paramedics went in for the lady left with brain damage, were freaking out in the 911 call. The operator was left wondering “why isn’t the surgeon taking care of her??” Specially since they had the machinery and “experience” to do so. Well, all according to the psycho with the scalpel.

I believe the board in charge of suspending medical licenses is not built of government officials. They are doctors who are often persuaded by the testimony of the doctor being held on “trial”. There’s a reason why it’s like this, I just can’t exactly remember all of the specifics, but I do agree that something should have been done waaaaaaay earlier and there has to be a better way to hold doctors accountable.

This woman is obviously dangerous. It reminds me of the dentist in San Antonio Texas who was too busy flirting and showing off to his young, pretty assistant while cleaning my teeth. He f'ed up and I ended up with nerve damage and needed a root canal. I complained to the medical board, then went to a root canal specialist which wasn't cheap even with insurance. I have to live with this root canal for the rest of my life. Thank God, the root canal dentist was brilliant. I felt no pain and told him beforehand that I was very nervous. He was great and just happened to be an African American doctor who was former Air Force. This woman is worse, much worse and her incompetence and insensitivity is appalling.

When I was a kid I looked up to nurses and doctors, not only for their knowledge and careers but for their professionalism and maturity. Now as a CNA that's furthering my education, I've met many nurses who are far from mature and they don't even try to seem professional. When I had to go for a colonoscopy a few weeks ago, the nurse who took my vitals and set my IV came into the room talking so ghetto, using street slain and mispronouncing all her words as if she has very little education. It made me nervous about being in her care. Things have obviously changed over the years in the medical profession. It's not enough to know a certain amount of medical data to be a medical professional; there needs to be standards of professionalism and be a decent person, ethically.

That same thing happened to me. I think some people like that kind of thing but not me. This nurse literally called me 'girlfriend' and was talking my ear off instead of paying attention to what she was doing. Fortunately my husband was still with me and he wasn't happy about it and his brother is a top administrator at the hospital I was at so he quickly went to his office to have a word and I was assigned another nurse. If her feelings were hurt in the process, too bad.

Ya and A LOT of female nurses do some WILD things to innocent defenseless unconscious male patients under anesthesia. Most commonly going up to innocent defenseless unconscious male patients under anesthesia and lifting their gowns up for NON MEDICAL REASONS but to laugh and gawk and sexually humiliate them then further sexually degrade them by gossiping about their genitals. Or PURPOSELY leaving unconscious male patients exposed when it isn't NECESSARY and having other female nurses who have NO BUSINESS with that patient to come look and giggle and gawk. I could go on and on and on and on with stories. Had a female nurse tell me once how a local TV anchor had surgery. Word spread throughout the female nurses and female employees in the unit about it. So afterwards while he was still sedated from anesthesia, 30 or so female nurses and female employees quick shuffled in, I'm guessing the recovery room, and lifted his gown up. They thought it was HILARIOUS to sexually degrade him like that. The nurse I knew wasnt there, wasnt her unit, but word spread to the whole hospital, female nurses and female hospital employees like to gossip about Male patients genitals. This type of stuff is common and accepted among female nurses, sexually assaulting unconscious Male patients is common among female nurses

Having music on whilst performing surgery is one thing; putting videos of yourself dancing with an anaesthetised patient on social media is quite another. It's unprofessional, outrageous, unacceptable and the medical profession shouldn't accept such behaviour from it's members. The medical board were right to remove her license for 2 years. Hopefully, with remedial training; she can reapply for her license, take this as a lesson learned. Patients under anaesthesia have the same rights of confidentiality as any other patient.

Just to start with one of the most important if not most important rules of any surgery is to maintain and respect your sterile field, clearly no respect to it given here. And how is anyone monitoring the patients anesthetic level which requires consistent monitoring of many parameters impossible to gauge with her trying to give a concert performance and conduct surgery at the same time. This is one of the most blatant cases of negligence I've ever seen. One of the goals of a surgeon is to have their patient under anesthesia for the shortest amount of time as possible which requires 100% focus and dedication to your skill, the one they are entrusting their life to you with.

I was told that I was fat, by a surgeon who operated on my 32 year old body. I was bloated and sick, needing at least 5 more surgeries. Here though chiropractors and dentists are not considered doctors at all and cannot use the title unless they have a doctorate. For what it’s worth vets aren’t called 'doctor' either.
