Dancing Poppies-Using Only 3 Primary Colors-Watercolor Painting Tutorial Step by Step.

In this video, we will learn how to paint poppies in watercolor for beginners step by step. These days are the poppy full bloom season in California. Poppies blown by the wind are looks like dancing. I will use only 3 primary colors red, yellow, blue and mixed 2 secondary colors orange, green. Mix red and yellow becomes orange, mix yellow and blue becomes green. We are now having a very hard time because of the COVID19. I will be happy if this video can be a comfort to all. Let's cheer up!!.

Nice work....what about the extra bleed on the top of the flowers???? It looks like you made an error?? What could be done to eliminate that over run???😄

It's my intentional loose style. I really like the flow of water and I like the natural connection with the background rather than the hard edges. If you watch my videos more, you'll understand. If you don't like it, you can scrub it off with an oil painting brush or synthetic watercolor brush. :)

some part covered with colors and some part of the paper cleaned it up with eraser. :)
