Dancing with Dandelions nov 2023

This is a 7 minute documentary film about Robin Wight and FantasyWire
Over a few months in 2023 I’ve been working with Jeff Mansell and Howard Bagshaw, both keen AV producers from Staffordshire. They’ve made several visits to my workshop, filming me and the making of a fairy (Buttons shown in the film who will be on display at Blenheim Palace over Christmas 2023).
They entered their resulting seven minute film into the 2023 Royal Photographic Society International AV Festival and was awarded a FIAP Silver medal for "Best Production”.
I think they've made a fantastic job and the silver medal is so well deserved.

I bought a 16 inch kit and I'm having a ball trying to come close to making it look like a fairy. Robin makes it look so easy and his designs are incredible.I am so grateful he is willing to share his expertise on videos. I watch them over and over, and yes she is coming along. I'm not an artist. Just a little old lady having a blast. Thank you Robin you truly have a gift.

For me he is one of the greatest artists that live to day. 🙂 And yes, the giant wire statue would become a world famous tourist attraction for sure. 🙂

I so enjoyed this video. I was a farmer / welder/ mechanic. Became injured and had to re-invent myself. I understand your Zelle Congestion on finding your “voice “.

I built an eight inch then a sixteen inch Whimsys Pride from Robin and they do look fantastic though i say it myself. But you have to follow Robins amazing how to videos and try to get into his mindset. Not easy!! I'm sure he will manage his dream someday and it will be spectacular. All the best. From Dunoon Argyll
