totally agree with Maks, Jenn is the perfect person to be on DWTS and after the bachelorette did her dirty she deserves this redemption. She has sooo much potential and is easy to watch considering she has never danced before and doesn’t come from a performing background. Props to Jenn for saving the dance and finishing strong cause if that music mishap happened to me i would’ve ran off stage and cried lolll

I was happy to see how Max and Peta praised Jenn for her great work on Tuesday. She was great ,but I felt they were way underscored. They gave Eric and Jenn a both a 6 and I thought that Jenn did a better job than Eric it was not fair to Jenn and Sasha.

It's very simple. Is it an ABSOLUTE or RELATIVE (aptitude based) scoring metric? This is 100% producer decided. Currently, it's an undisclosed and inconsistent convolution.

How long do pros have to choreograph numbers? Is there ever a time where you plan 2 weeks in advance only to have to scrap it because you're eliminated? Do they have more time to rehearse when it's a number that includes only pros and the troupe? My favorite dance I've ever seen on DWTS is the tribute to Len Goodman. It brought me to tears and it was truly genius.

I honestly think Ezra got done SO DIRTY by the casting people this year. We've got this pro that everyone is so excited to see, and we saddle him with someone that I have no idea why on this Earth she agreed to do the show, she didn't want any part of it. Ezra got done SO DIRTY.

I might be wrong because one contestant was deaf and he did ok. I’m sure he and Rylee will make the best choices. I just worry he will lose his place on the floor without them. So I think his best protection is to wear his glasses. 👓

They taught live stream classes over Covid Lockdown - Val, Jenna, Peta and Maks in various combinations, that I'm sure are still on the KZbins somewhere. And they have an app called "Dance & Co", featuring teaches from them - Maks' workout classes are fun! - and the teachers from the Dance with Me studios. AND, Val and Jenna are going to be doing the Ovation competition and convention with Derek and Julianne coming up really soon. And I've seen videos on social media that Maks is travelling with some convention that the name is escaping me right this second. There's tons of opportunities to learn from them. Young Maks even did the Dancing with the Stars at home workout DVDs back in his day. In one of them, it was a workout based on the Paso, and Maks goes "You're doing great! ...Well, I can't see you, but I'm sure you're doing great..." and man, you want to talk about something being allowed to live in your brain rent free. 😆

Eric Roberts was in a bad car accident and since then his timing and/or balance is off. Personally I think he's really brave and courageous to do what he's doing. I do feel for Eric because he's trying his best with the limitations he has. As someone who has focal seizures, I can relate to his limitations, and I love him, I am his fan forever

I'm interested in the process of choreographing a number. With music, we have a way to write notes. With writing we write words. How do you plan and remember all the steps? Do you write it down/video it? I'd love to know how that works. For me (a non-dancer) it looks like magic.

To be fair to Stephen for his neck, I dance like that without my glasses too. That’s actually how my dance teacher discovered I needed glasses. She was trying to find out why I kept falling out of turns and then realized I was craning my neck forward and throwing myself off because I couldn’t see what I was spotting. He is likely trying to see since his vision is much worse than mine and I was struggling. I didn’t even realize I was doing it until my dance teacher took a video to show me and it was so bad! I had never noticed it before but then I looked back at old dance videos and I could see when my vision started getting worse and I started craning my neck worse and worse. I had never noticed it before and I had watched my videos multiple times.

....:( Wow, that is Weird, since the Show is being Taped right down the Street from You guys, in LA...!!!....Somebody should mention that to the Producers...!!!.....We see the show in NY Live at 8:00pm, on TV----so that means the Show is actually happening in Studio at 5:00pm Cali time----But then you'all do not see the Show on TV until 8:00pm Cali Time....?????....!!!!.....Good grief....!!!.....:(

Thanks for this recap. Poor Jenn going first was way underscored. I am in CA and last season I didn't vote. This season I'll vote at 5pm for Jenn and Joey without seeing them. I'd rather vote after I watch the show but by 8pm voting is closed. I have Disney and can't watch it at 5pm either. They need to fix the voting system. Luckily I'll be in NY for a month mid Oct to mid Nov and can watch and vote live.

@cathycollins3310 yes! I am in mountain time. My daughter and I were keeping a list of who to vote for and found out voting closed an hour into the show. We had no idea we would get cut off early and before we saw all the dances.

My house what we're doing is we score them the week prior, since we can watch live, then once voting opens in the east cost we give them the amount of votes that we scored them. For example we gave Chandler an 8 this week, so when voting opens on the monday episode we'll give her 8 votes. I liked the season the show was on Disney plus, because I could actually watch and vote live.

Blame DWTS and ICE for Anna being on the show. DWTS offered her a position and she accepted, like many others would. She actually accepted an offer to actually work for her money for once. Blame ICE for bending rules to allow her to be on the show. Blame DWTS for scouting her and allow a felon who's still fulfilling a criminal sentence to have a national platform.

I get the older guys are charming. I always want to vote for the ppl who are charming and struggling. But every week it gets harder and harder to watch them struggle, so I decided it was kinder to let them go rather then trying to vote to save them. These 2 older guys are trying so hard, their hearts are there, their bodies are wishing for a chair in the audience.
