$22 USD for what looks like 10 instant noodle is still expensive. Bulk Instant Noodle tends to be less than a dollar a pack with the cheapest being 20-25 cents per pack. $22 for 10 is over $2 a pack which is pricey for a base in general. They still added their own add-ins on top of that.

@@Moralatheist101 If you are American or American-centric than yes, “ramen” tends to get lumped in with the “instant” variety. Of which, pretty much is exclusively of the maruchan type which is literally a dirt cheap, nasty product. In Asia, ramen is thought of as the proper “noodle” type, even if it’s not the authentic Japanese dish. They will always be better, higher quality with quality noodles and flavoring. The best example of a proper instant noodle you can readily get in American would be the Korean Shin noodles.

It's really rare in Poland, it's about 7/8 zł per one serving (about 2$) and is mostly in those fancy stores with stuff from around the world (found this one in a local Carrefour, though). Me and my friend made it recently, we added extra cheese and a bit of basil, absolutely reccomend! I always buy the instant ramen version every time we go there and it's really good although the taste is a lot different from the normal ramen but it's pretty expensive so i don't go often. The ones I buy are always in boxes though. I've never bought any from the supermarket but I wanna go and see if they taste any different. I've also tried Ippudo instant ramen but for some reason I really hated it and it was nothing like the ramen I had at the restaurants. I might try them again to test if it still tastes different.

The first brand just recently get into trouble with government in Japan.......As the product was launched by a famous Ramen restaurant chain , The company didn't allow retailers to put the Instant Ramen on sale or drop the price.(so they can keep the brand stay "luxury" , which break the law on fair trade or something.) And the Wine Chicken Instant Noodle was a product from TTL (Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation) , so the wine in the pack is a real deal , non-water down stuff.(The noddle was made by one of the leading brand here in Taiwan too. So this thing is very popular.)
