@@dancingwithmackenzie hiii Mack, how is it going? Hope you’re doing great!! I’m a Brazilian subscriber of you since 2020 (I believe) and I’m currently a pre-pro ballet dancer! Ik it sounds a little bit inappropriate but may I ask if you’re paid for being a trainee in the company you’re currently dancing with? It’s because I’m looking up for some companies to audition for and I wanted to give it a try for this one! I hope you feel to answer this type of question (it will definitely help me a lot) but if not it’s okay then… Stay safe! ♥️

I can really see the happiness and calm in your eyes now that you’re on to the next stage in your journey. Obviously training with a company, work will be a priority and none of us are expecting intricate vlogs, much less filming class. So so so happy for you!

Could you do a video on, what exactly a ballet trainee does? Do you get paid? Or is it like an internship? What is the proces like? How long will you be there? What will you be doing?

I am probably wrong, but I don’t think ballet trainees get paid. Like she said earlier in the video, she was going to do some work.

You were one of the first KZbinrs I watched when I was just figuring out I wanted to be professional in ballet (I'm a late starter). It's been so incredible watching your amazing journey. i’ve been living on my own for 2 years now and what really helps is building a community in your new place! like at college, join a club or just introduce yourself to people on campus. if just moving, go to a coffee shop or find something you’re interested in (for example, if you dance, find an adult dance class and introduce yourself to others) you will get homesick but not as often. hope this helps❤️
