Gotta disagree here. Hawkman is stronger and more durable but his Nth metal would counter Archangel’s speed. He can morph full body armour and a shield then still be able to wield a weapon to attack. His skill advantage would make up for Warren’s combat speed advantage (which isn’t as large as his flight speed advantage), and the pinions will be ineffective. . Besides, Warren’s wings might be able to block Hawkman’s weapons but not forever - Hawkman’s skill would get around them eventually. The flip side to this is Warren’s wings won’t be able to penetrate Hawkman’s armour. Hawkman takes the majority here - though not uncontested.

Hawkman has all the advantages, he’s D.C.’s Wolverine, that Inth metal cancels most if not all of Angels attacks. Angel might be able maneuver faster in the air but I’m not sure. Mainly because if Hawkman can dodge lightning that’s 1/3 of the speed of light; which is 22 million mph. Though Hawkman can hold that speed or do it all day. If he is capable a few times or evens once and doesn’t then angel will ripped in half. Strike doesn’t even to land cleanly either. Hawkman wins 9/10 times.

Why Hawkman wins: Why was the claw of horus brought up; a weapon that is described at 2:10 as being equivalent to hitting someone with a planet, if it's not even going to be used in this fight? i'm also positive that reaction speed is far more important than maximum flight speed in this battle, especially when all you need is one good hit with the claw of horus to instantly defeat archangel. what's even better is since archangel is going at his maximum speed during the battle, thanks to the laws of physics the planet level impact would be even greater; like a bat hitting a baseball. if someone tells me that archangel can survive planet level impacts and get back up without any issues then i'll be shocked.

Dude this analysis is straight silly and full of inacuracies. Hawkman has this dude completely outclassed and it's not even close. You have arcangels best speed feat as catching the black bird which is just under Mach 3 at around 2100 mph. Mach 3 being 2301 mph. While Hawkmans is dodging lighting which literally is 1/3 the speed of light and keeping up with kryptonians and the flash. Hawkman wins this - EASILY. The only advantage Warren has is the ability to run away really fast, and it's not even that much of an advantage. I'd argue that you're grossly underestimating Hawkman's speed. Every single "advantage" you've given Archangel is equaled or exceeded by Hawkman, and Harman is physically more powerful and versatile.

@@TheInspire96 I understand the concept; I'm saying it's unlikely that someone with a top movement speed of 500 mph would be able to move fast enough to avoid something traveling hundreds of millions of mph, regardless of how good their reflexes are. Not a knock on on Hawkman, who I actually expected to win this battle. More just pointing out the inconsistencies inherent to comics in general.

Hawkman should win! The Nth medal far exceeds ArchAngel. You are comparing every advantage Angel has ever had, majority of those he has LOST throughout the years. Wolverine sliced ArchAngel in the past and he almost bleed to death. Many Weaker X-men have beaten him. If you are going to give ever positive feature ArchAngel has ever shown, you need to do the same for Hawkman. Hawkman dodged lightening which travels at the speed of light, that is fast! The claw of Horus could hurt Superman, so it can easily kill ArchAngel. Please do more research on your combatants and compare them EQUALLY for a better matchup. Try to read the comics and not rely on Wikipedia for 100% of your info.

Got to give it to AA over HM due to the distance attacks AA has with his wings..that alone tips the scales. To my knowledge HM has no distance atks, only his mace for close in fighting which Warren can negate to a degree due to the fact his wings can encase him like armor... this is just a bad match up for carter..you throw in all the exposed skin and it leans more in warrens favor.. I also give AA a speed edge going by feats in the comics.
