You forgot that silver surfer also has cosmic awareness so that he can sense and predict what firestorm would be able to do, even if firestorm was suddenly teleported from the DC universe in to the Marvel universe to fight. But in firestorms defense, silver surfer tried hurting Odin and could not damage him, and Thanos was able to at least show some type of offense. And then Thanos kick the crap out of silver surfer and killed him once before. I still would pick silver surfer to win but with a grain of salt, especially on the power and durability end.
