Superman is essentially DC’s “Infinity Stones.” He’s the most powerful being in the galaxy on his own, no stones, no augmentation, nothing. So, the goal of any super villain wouldn’t be to defeat Superman...it would be to control him. And that’s exactly what is foreshadowed in the entire Snyderverse...from BvS when Batman initially fears Superman’s seemingly unmatchable power...to the visions Cyborg and Batman have showing Darkseid using the Anti-life equation to take control of Superman’s mind. And this entire concept is a great way to distance themselves from Marvel...there’s no group of stones that everyone is trying to get that gives you god like powers....there’s just a god-like being that is humanoid and flawed and emotional and at times...controllable. Several of the avengers are defeated or killed in seconds but Scarlet Witch, Vision Captain Marvel, and Dr. Strange make a huge difference. The fight is way harder for them with core avengers only. How can the Avengers compare to someone who's comarable in speed to the Flash who runs faster than light? Thor is far too slow best strength feat is breaking ice from the frozen arms of the neutron star forge. At VERY best that is on par with a tectonic plate since Supes moved two and ZOD is comparable I'll assume he's in that range. ZOD was punched across the planet, in to orbit hit a satellite, and than punched back to earth and suffered no damage. Thor has been damaged by less. No he`s not! We`re talking here about basic Superman, with a considerable amounth of confussion (he`s not evil, he`s confused, otherwise he would`ve killed the JL right there on the spot) which means he will hold back as usually, that`s his biggest weakness, not the kryptonite and he is not even remotely that mighty as you suggest. There are characters in the MCU that can literally beat him into a pulp, straight up kill him. Hela surely would manhandle him, she`s as strong if not stronger, apparently impervious to fatal blows (Thor stabbed her in the chest with Gungnirr, Odin`s weapon, an asgardian soldier too) while Superman showed us he`s quite vulnerable to piercing objects and her swords plus that, well.... She is ruthless, way more skilled than him and with towsands of years of experience in brutal wars with other civilizations, she might not need her swords at all. Odin is kinda strange choise without any feat to scale on but I`m sure he dealt with far stronger and more dangerous characters during his time, he`s not the protector of the nine realms for nothing. Dr. Strange can literally turn him into dust, Scarlet Witch too (especially if she`s pissed). Kurse the dark elf has the potential to knock him out cold or even kill him, Thanos would simply outlast him. I`m not even gonna mention Surtur, Ego, Dormammu. Probably he would obliterate 70% of MCU, he`s noooo joke but that doesnt mean he`s ustoppable.

Start of the fight: Superman eye beams all of the lower powered Avengers. After that first blast, MAYBE Iron Man is standing, and Thor and Hulk are standing. The rest are down, reduced to extra crispy style. Then, Superman uses his speed, ripping Iron Man's armor to shreds before Tony can even think or blink. Ditto Hulk, sent flying before he's aware that Superman has moved. Thor has shown to be able to keep up in combat with fast opponents, (without resorting to PIS), so he would perhaps be able to perceive Superman moving, and might be able to hold his own for a few minutes. Who wins between the two of them in comics would be a huge debate (and as a MAJOR fan of DC comics, I actually favor Thor in that fight), but from the movies, Superman takes Thor after one hell of a fight...which I'd love to watch. I've criticized the crap out of some of DanCo's videos in the past, but I do believe he's spot on this one.

But Superman made her look like nothing. A bloodlusted Superman would mean the end of the world dceu or mcu. Superman always hits faster than the speed of sound, constantly breaking the sound barrier. The hulk and Thor never really do this. Thor may have survived a neutron star, but he won’t be to fight something he has no chance too catch. Same goes for hulk. Superman won’t even get hurt and he may be able to knock out Thor and hulk in one good punch. They won’t even know what hit them if they are allowed to live. Thor's lightning especially from his new hammer can summon the bifrost and transport him and multiple other people the different location ergo is lightning is Magic as far as in the movie door flew off planet and if you look at the animated movies and know that his power is equal to in the same as Beta Ray bills then Thor can also move as fast as Lightning not as long as Superman but all he needs to do is move fast enough to avoid blows strike him with the magic lightning and Superman is dead Thor wins lightning fatality and thank you everyone for your responses
