Also, considering that Thanos and Darkseid are considered remotely equals (with Darkseid's Omega Effect carrying the winning edge typically); I would be surprised if DanCo said Odin lost. Essentially, The Antimonitor is a rough equivalent to, maybe, a 1/4 of Marvel's HOTU weapon. Thanos is an awesome character. But a poor copy cat of the OG, Darkseid!

@@jsto6056 Darkseid's "true form" was retconned after Flashpoint from what I understand. So now it is just his physical form, but it is a bit more powerful than it used to be (like how he can take on the Anti-Monitor in his physical form now). Galactus also has a "true form" since he's sort of the energy avatar of a multiversal sentience. DC Prime Gods (like Zeus, Odin....Sky Lord class gods) aren't really as powerful as their Marvel counterparts. It is one of the few places where DC actually under powered their characters compared to their marvel counterparts. In most ways DC characters are usually more powerful.

It would probably play out the same as Odin vs. Thanos (No Gauntlet) did in the comics. Odin takes it easy at first, but realizes he's dealing with someone of lesser but similar power level, and then really starts pouring it on with Gungnir. I don't think Darkseid can long withstand someone using galaxy busting power, like Odin showed fighting Surtur.
