Was going to say something about this on the last video, he's really stepped up his game when it comes to the more typical style of skating, he's always been great but something about the way he's skating now just feels better. It's like he's finally found that balance between the freestyle stuff and what everyone else is doing, and it looks fuckin great!

Craziest thing about the 30 trick challenge he just did, is that he already did 30 tricks 30 days years ago, and then 50 tricks in 50 states, and still was able to figure out 30 more new tricks. (After recovering from skating across the US)

There was something about that change in direction by Kiko at 11:13 that looked insane to me just as a viewer with no vert/transition experience. Dude hits three walls going one way down the length of the bowl and than pulled all that momentum back up towards the top of the bowl instead of continuing down. I know this is probably childs play for him and he did way more crazy stuff but just looked awesome and caught me off guard because my eyes were already assuming he was going elsewhere

he's improved significantly. he used to do the same tricks all the time. he's a lot more creative now and he's a lot smoother too. it's honestly one of the most impressive improvements i've seen in a while just because of how long he's been in the industry. i didn't expect it.
