Thanks for the explanation! Was checking out as to what “Kuwabara” means as it reminds me of Kuwabara Kazuma in Yu Yu Hakusho. I recall in another video that Kuwabara is a Japanese word mentioned to ward off spirits. The funny thing is, the first kanji of the first name of Yuusuke Urameshi, Yu Yu Hakusho’s lead character, is unique as “Yuu” means “spirit” while “URAMESHI” is what spirits utter in Japanese which is similar to “BOO” in English. Togashi-sensei is truly clever on that little detail!😁

@@shuichikurama1760 Thanks! Yea Kuwabara has kinda been generalized as an all situation charm. Yu Yu Hakusho and Natsume Yuujinchou are two legendary yokai themed anime/manga!

Amazing breakdown video 🔥 I usually dont like when people stretch hidden meanings behind the lyrics but overall i think you did a really great job uncovering the meaning behind the lyrics of the best song of the season. And the ending.....I SEE WHAT YOU SEE....But....Is it really??? 👀

@@ZackMako Thank you! Yea it's always nice to leave room for people to interpret the song, so I'll try to only do it when it improves the experience. Hahaha unlikely but yes please

Lol, it's in reference to the Yomanoke

been thinking for a while since the song was released, what the meaning behind the 4 4 4 thing, and damn the meaning behind it is a cross reference of a yokai and the singer's height and the japanese death clock. MindfuckingBLOWN!

What did you see in the end? Loved the breakdown of the OP; I can appreciate it even more now.

Loved the vid, though I think there's some wrong info here. 4 shaku, 4 sun, 4 bu is 134cm. Very far from the 168cm you mentioned.
@KushunjpopАй бұрын
@@blatherskiteneet1283 Thank you! So I did a bit of digging and turns out by Shaku it actually means Kujirashaku( a traditional Japanese metric) , where 1 Shaku is 38cm so 4.4 Shaku becomes 168.

I learnt a lot. Any idea why there's anime references in the second verse

@@tuandingkang3263 I'd say it's because Dandadan's manga is published by JUMP and these other animes as well.

i think there is a reference to the manga right after the jjk reference, maybe yes maybe no i dont really know
@KushunjpopАй бұрын
@@ployfrase I'm not sure either, did a bit of digging and all I see is there are some who find slight references to JoJo and HUNTERxHUNTER, although all seems like a stretch

@@Kushunjpop i only think it was because it could be a reference to the same arc where they got a cameo, and it involved a box
