My flange nuts on the front exhaust fell off!! That's why it is so loud. The info is important for autotune, but I need to redo the autotune process!! Wow. Sorry about the audio, but It is fixed now!
You need to autotune your bike with the Fuelpak FP3 if you have an aftermarket exhaust. Especially tune it after getting the Vo2 air intake. The bike is much louder and I need to find the right fuel mixture. While I am doing that, I promise the audio will become better too. I can't speak for any other tuners but the fp3 has amazing tech support. they have been very patient with me helping me work through troubleshooting tunes. they also were able to remotely enable a cruise control that I installed myself on my Harley fat bob so I didn't have to deal with going to the dealer and possibly having to pay a fee.

Had last tuned my iron when I had s shots which I tuned, then sold the shots . Running stock pipes with SE slips now and only getting round to doing another tune , bikes been using way too much fuel 85 miles and light on ( 1.5 ‘ lift ) so hoping when done two tanks worth of retune that will increase ? . Ways surprised the SE slip ons aren’t listed either , had to go ‘ generic ‘ slip ons .

I have a 2018 Sportster 48 and want to put Vance & Hines slip-ons. Are the slip-ons compatible with a Screaming Eagle tuner? I was told V&H FP3 would void the warranty, while a Screaming Eagle tuner would not void warranty. I want as little complications as possible.

There is the option in the FP-3 to send your map to Vance and Hines. I imagine they will look at the learned values and fill in the cells that we werent able to get during auto tune. Does anyone know if the base maps, auto tune, or Vance and Hines "tweeks" chance timing at all or is it strictly air/fuel

I'm looking at getting the new big radius for my 18 fat bob. I had the short shots on my 883, but I thought they were to loud when riding. Do you think the big radius would be a better fit ?

I was auto tuning my bike but there was a setting I had to go In to. But to do it I had to turn auto tune off. So the current tune I had I just clicked apply then I was able to turn it off to change a setting not when I turn it back on can i go back to the map and finish it or do i have to start all over again smh.

I've tried the FP3 with V&H slash 3 in slip-ons and intake kit on my 2019 Sportster 48. The bike ran worse every time I applied the learning... in fact after the 3rd time the bike was dangerous off idle and part throttle. I was afraid of the cars and trucks behind me hitting me coming out of traffic lights because the bike was backfiring and hesitating (also going around a corner out of a light). I started over 3 times over two weeks and I've had it. Between the glitches in the app and lost connection crap it's not worth it. I sank about 700 into V&H stuff... now I'll sell the slip-ons and remove the FP3. I emailed V&H asking if they could wipe the vin so I could use it on another Harley (may have better luck), they have not got back to me yet. If they won't or can't wipe it then I will never buy another product from them... so far I've had to eat 400 dollars with nothing to show for it. Oh BTW I'm an engineer and a motorhead... so there was nothing going on with this equipment that I didn't understand. I doubt the downloaded map for the installed equipment was the product of hours of Dyno work... sure didn't run like it was.

You have to flash a base map then learn off that, not sure if you did or not. That's how I did it and runs great.

Uber Noob Question: Can you use the AutoTune function independent of the mods you put on your bike? For instance, if I choose a different brand for my exhaust and air filter, will that still work? I don't see a reason why not. Also, does it learn and applies the changes on the fly or do you need to flash it to save the settings on the ECU?

Yes. It will tune right over it. I went from SE pro street tune to FP3 and it is 10x better.

I was going to say, it sounds like an exhaust leak. You intake doesn’t sound right, I have had that type of air intake on both of my Harley’s and never heard anything like that. Double check your stuff.

Mine worked amazing, however once you Map it to your air intake to exhaust, there is no auto tune needed!!!!! Vanes hines already does all the work for you!!!! Not sure why all these videos do an auto tune? When in fact the FP-3 tells you that once you Map it your absolutely fine!!!!!

Canned maps are a good starting point, but every bike-engine is different. Auto tune tunes to YOUR bike specifically.

V&H doesn’t have EVERY intake or exhaust mapped. I put a Two brothers exhaust on mine and they didn’t have that specific exhaust in the options
