I remember crashing my motorbike and everyone runs out screaming "stay down" and "do not move" and I'm like "OMG I'm dying" because of how they're reacting. Then they covered me and hold my head sending me into panic mode. Then the ambulance got there and I was completely fine..... :S So embarrassing, I hate it when people overreact like that. Every crash since I've learned to ignore them and just assess myself, but when you're like 18 you have no experience.

27 years of driving cars prepared me enough for stupid actions on the road, it did not prepare me for people actively disregarding motorbike as part of movement on the road. Been riding few weeks, still a newbie really but number of people that will do shit just because you are on motorbike is insane..

It happened in Québec Canada, a girl stopped her car on the highway to get aome ducks across and actually killed motorcyclists. Choose your battle with safety in mind first. Don't put your safety or others on the line to be a hero.

Your videos might have saved me from a 60km/h crash today. I’ve been watching them for about a month now and have taken a lot of your safety tips to heart. Basically, I wasn’t really in the wrong-other than maybe being in this woman’s blind spot. (My front wheel was approaching her rear wheel). She suddenly indicated and swerved into my lane like I wasn’t even there. Luckily, I was ready for it. As she was in the right lane and I was in the left, I figured there was a good chance she’d have a “brain fart” moment and almost take me out. Thanks to your advice, I made sure to keep 2 or 3 escape routes in mind, which saved my skin. Just wanted to say thanks-your videos have been incredibly helpful. Some drivers out there are absolutely clueless about us riders, and it’s insane. Keep doing what you’re doing, amigo. Duke Nukem signing out. 😎

Couldn’t agree more. Took my MSF on a Rebel 250. Two days later, my Shadow 750 was waiting in the driveway. Absolutely love it. I swear to make more time for it next season

23:22 That L-Plater squid needed to literally "read the road"! First he was travelling on the striped markings which wasn't a lane, then you can clearly see the arrow on the turning lane in the opposite direction. So the driver would have been sensibly checking for traffic by looking to their left, and definitely not expecting some noob scooter squid to approach from the wrong direction. The rider was lucky the driver was going slow

Looking at a lot of these videos in the UK, it seems to us a lot of these so-called beginner bikers in the USA are just plain dumb. 147kph single lane road, traffic and no armour! Really!! No wonder they fall their bikes so much.

I don't like your format. Unfortunately bikers make mistakes. I much more prefer channels who teach good riding techniques. The best out there are 'Canyonchasers' and 'Moto Control' and 'Motojutsi'. You are too much about spectacle.

So I finally had my first Moto crash today. I was practicing riding while standing up on the pegs in my KX 250 dirt bike and I accidentally whiskey throttled. I was headed into the wood so I panicked and pressed the front brakes to avoid the bushes and trees and hurt my hand and got scratched up a bit.

I rode for a long time and came up with a few rules. #1 is to pretend that you are invisible, the drivers do not see you, and are capable of taking over your space at any moment. Of course the real #1* is: "don't be a dick". By the way, this applies everywhere.

I'm going to address a few things that DanDan didn't explain; 1. speed. Kind of a no brainer but you should never accelerate into a corner in most circumstances let alone speed into them. Good rule of thumb, when you know there is a corner, or the end of the road starts to disappear, don't accelerate until you can see your exit. which brings me to my next point... 2. Lean angle. in many of these videos you see the rider go in a little too hot, but even when you go at a timid speed you NEED to lean the bike. You can see that when the riders realise they might go wide, they straighten the bike and focus on braking. MASSIVE nono. you're much better off leaning harder and slowly squeezing the front brake. If your mind screams at you not to, you don't know your bike enough. 3. Gear. On top of injury prevention, wearing gear makes you less afraid to low side, therefore you mentally can lean further. Confidence is key when you encounter these situations, and your confidence will increase when you have gear and realise that you are riding a gyroscope. 4. Practice, practice, practice. purposefully give yourself that 'oh shit' feeling into some corners and see how you react. you can do this without reaching that running wide limit. Get comfortable with that feeling, relax into it and learn your bike.

1:39:30 is one of my biggest fears. Too many times I've learned this is a dangerous spot to be in, and will try to move to the left lane and peek around / make myself visible, or slow down and hang to the far right to make myself more visible
