Thank you so much for this. I share your philosophy on keeping a yard with NO pesticides. It is important for my pets, myself and the bees! When my healthy crop of dandelions come up, I am sure going to try it!

My teen son and I decided to make this for this for the first time today. We decided to make two batches and for the second batch, we added some orange slices with peels and steeped them in it. We now have two kinds and they both are delicious. What's funny is we think the first batch tastes like apple jelly. So good! thanks for making it so easy to follow!

I made this today and it is fantastic. It does remind me somewhat of honey but with a lighter taste. So, so good!

I will have to try that next year, with my garden's crop! I just watched a video from Azerbaijan, where the lady made this in her garden. They didn't add pectin - just fresh lemon and orange juice, and they bottled it with petals and all ...

Followed the video closely, but mine didn't set up, it's just a sauce. Any idea what went wrong?

We made some a few days ago, but had trouble getting it to jell. Re-did them with more pectin and it finally did. Any ideas why?

Could be the brand. We experimented and found that Sure-gel needed a little more than other brands.

Can't wait for a yard full of dandelions! I wonder if it can be made with an alternative sugar?
