Dijkstra is such a great character, already loved him in the Books. I would have loved if there was a DLC story that included him more.

She's probably thinking of Morvran Voorhis, he's the only prominent male character she's raced against. Never mind that he and Mr. Wily* are very different - in so many ways. (* Or Wiley, as the game doesn't seem to be able to make up its mind on the spelling, which annoys me. Same with the halfling beekeeper, Meiersdorf. Sometimes he's Holofernus, sometimes Holofernes...)

5:34 - Sienna's scandalized reaction 23:00 - I think passing here was a mistake since it's an action that virtually had no benefit. Your opponent was also Northern Realms, so they would win a card upon winning. So they could use one card to win, and regain a card after - leaving you both in the same position with regards to number of cards, but with a win for them. When you win the first round, they HAVE to win the second. So you could either beat them for good on the second round, or get them to waste cards. 23:44 - You need not have worried since Roche is a unique card, so would've been immune to any other card effects. :) It was a damn close game though! (also kinda cute that she played Roche and Ves side by side in this game). 59:31 - :D You have so much money! :D You should be able to afford to craft Witcher gear now. Just remember never to sell/dismantle Witcher gear, or any unique gear that you like the look of. You can store them away instead. Believe me, much much much later on, you'll be glad you kept them. :) Looking forward to the next one Sienna! 💜 (and yeah, as other have pointed out, you probably haven't met Whoreson Junior yet. The one you raced against was General Voorhis, who is rather different to put it mildly. ;) )

Sienna, the guy that was posting a contract for the killing a monster in the sewers…You don’t wanna do that yet because that’s for the expansion hearts of stone! you haven’t even finished the main story yet so…😅

In my first playthrough, I played the entire Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine expansions before I even began 'Final Preparations'. That worked, too.

It's basically a larger Side contract :P we're doing enough of those anyway before rushing to Ciris rescue.

Hearts of stone sure, but blood and wine? Nah, supposed to be AFTER, main story during 1272, while B&W take place 3 years after, 1275 - it doesn't make any sense for geralt to go all the way down south during his search for ciri, side tracks in side quests is something, but BaW feels completley like New game 😅@@jiansonz

@@cesarborgia9240 I went in completely blind, didn't know the background and the years situation. Actually happened upon the quest that takes you there, but since I had so much left to do on the other maps, I went back to Velen after the first fight. But I figured 'Final Preparations' sounded so final, I wanted that part be the last.

As someone who is currently doing it on my first playthrough, Heart of Stone works fantastic to do it during Final Preparations (most probably you are already around lvl 30 by that point). And its even the correct "time" to do the DLC on a writing aspect. Blood & Wine I do understand who it is the ending of the game, different to HOS

If you want it to look really pretty theres a new HD mod available in steam workshop. I just installed it in my game and wow the textures are popping, even very noticable on clothing. Isnt hard on performance either. Still runs smooth on my old i5 4690k 970gtx card

At the start it played the Velen intro because you last disconnected in Velen.

Hero Cards with the golden sun can't be destroyed by scorch, aren't influenced by weather effects and can't be revived with a medic card Passing without any cards on the board and for no particularyl reason most of the time gives an advantage to your opponent. It's better to play and get some cards out of your opponent and see if you can win the round. Always play with the focus to win in 2 rounds rather after 3.

This game has the longest dialogue scenes of any game I’ve played ffs…and guess what…I was not bored not once! This game is too good. And I have ADHD so I would’ve quit the game asap if I couldn’t focus or follow along but I was completely locked in and engaged. My fav game ever and I’m still near where you’re at too 😂

Hero cards are immune from all effects, including scorch! 😉And yes, passing the scond round without playing any card was a stupid idea, just because Northern Realms get a free card after winning a round. Btw, it is also a stupid idea when you play against Nilfgaard (wins the round by passing as well), or against the monster deck, if (!) they have a card out (which is most likely the case). Don't worry too much about mutagens, you can farm them later were easily and quickly, if you really want to. Nah, Dijkstra was just being sarcastic when he complained about Geralts sarcasm! 😉😆
