The OTC version calmed my scalp down a lot, but didn't eliminate the problem. I'm currently trying a Salicylic acid shampoo to see if that further helps.

went to my dr re burning scalp, flakes ect as I've had this for a long time... Dr didn't tell me what I had. just gave me an topical treatment called betnovate... really annoying because I was like I need to know what it is to treatment it appropriately! 🙃🥴

I currently have a keratin treatment in my hair and have been using the chi enviro shampoo that goes with the treatment. Do you think using the kenkoderm shampoo would make the keratin wash out faster?

If you have any of these scalp disorders you need to stop using chi anyway. it’s meant to break down things in/on the scalp that are not suppose to be there but it is color safe. Ask your cosmetologist.

Thank you. My scalp is painful and so tender to even touch let alone comb whenever I apply any type of oils. Even if I apply it to the ends and when I sleep the ends touch my scalp it gets so painful.

I don’t know why but after I washed my hair my scalp still had tiny little flakes... So I thought my scalp was and needed oil dry so I added some olive oil but I guess I was terribly wrong and made it worse.

You need to detox your scalp.

@@splat8666 use a clarifying/detox shampoo, then conditioned, then blow dry with a leave in conditioner. Note: detangle your hair with oil only before washing your hair, don't detangle when it's wet. hope it will help
