That was a fantastic boat trip! I love how they kept it natural and didn't appear to run to a script and they way they changed course or slowed down to allow best views of the whales and dolphins. NZ is surely a fabulous country!

Fantastic footage, we are so very lucky to live here! One of my best memories was swimming at Kaikoura with 300 dolphins, was very overwhelming and emotive, such beautiful, majestic creatures.

What an awesome trip! I had no idea there were Orcas on the bay of islands! Have been there twice on both our NZ cruises, never take a boat trip....but will definitely be doing one if we get to go again!

aaaah I love killer whales since watching Free Willy as a kid :D such smart animals. Good to know they can be spotted in New Zealand too, we never been to your country but some day for sure we will explore it

8:19 Why did they put people in the net? I would prefer to swim up to the dolphins without the net. On the island of Oahu in Hawaii the spinner dolphins are really shy. So they swim away if I get too close. The dolphins on the Big Island of Hawaii are not as shy. They like to surf with people. The same on Maui. The dolphins surf with the surfers. They are such adorable squeaky butts! Did you hear their squeaks underwater? So CUTE!!!!!!

There's a lot of rules up there about how you can engage with the dolphins, the netting was kind of more just for fun rather than actually to swim with them :) They are the best though, the little squeaks and their playfulness is the best
