Hi guys really love watching your vlogs, they are very informative and well put together and importantly fun. I'm planning a trip in November this year and have been getting some prices and have been quoted $3400 for 1 week hire of a 6 berth motorhome with the company you guys used. Just enquiring if the prices you quoted are much less in this video due to the fact it was during the Covid period with no travellers from other countries?

Yeah for season 1 we got a special during COVID, season 2 we teamed up with Motorhome Republic (now GoSee Travel) so pricing would vary. Hunt around though, Maui is top tier but Britz and Mighty are older but still looked good to us

Hey guys just started watching your epic road trip around my homeland ..63yr old expat left in '85 ..live in Perth ...last road trips were with my daughter back in precovid days 2016 from Auckland across to picton..only had 2wks visiting friends n family abit rushed but packed in most as we could..2nd trip 2018 from Christchurch to Cape Reinga via hawkes bay coromandel to the Cape ..exploring and reminiscing on my childhood holidays ...enjoyed alot of traveling in my "youth"...hopefully soon we can get back to seeing other countries but as they used to say "don't leave town til u see the country"!good luck and happy travels even if its local look forward to any more travels soon

Loved your video guys! We pretty much had the same route back in 2019 and loved everything! New Zealand is a dream country! One more recommendation if you haven't done it already is the Great Barrier Island - north east of Auckland. It's a beautiful isolated place where you can unwind on the beaches, a nice hike up to a hot water spring (you barely find any people there) in the middle of a forest. And of course stargazing in the famous dark sky sanctuary!

Greetings from Santa Cruz Cali. Really enjoy your video's. Great way to stay connected to NZL. My wife and I have made three trips over the last 4 years (a month each trip) and can't wait to get back. The only region we haven't visited is East coast North Island. Cheers

Question: can you fly your drone from the ferry as you cross between Wellington and Picton? I tried to Google search this and did not find anything, but I saw what looked like “drone footage” on your video. Thanks in advance for your answer. What an amazing series!
