Arriving in Bali, Indonesia to find out my bag had been lost!! Spent the night exploring Seminyak with a few beers to forget about it haha ⬇ Click 'Show More' ⬇
Not the greatest arrival in Bali, to find out my bag never made it to Indonesia, but made for an interesting travel vlog today! We visited Bali in Feb 2018 and stayed in Seminyak - will share how the villa looks tomorrow.

You have a great attitude! Things happen and it is great you show people that yelling and screaming doesn't change a thing. Patience is key....i know because my bag was lost too. In fact being calm and polite gets better help in these situations. I hope it gets to you soon!

Thank you :) Bad things happen all the time, gotta just get on with and look on the bright side really! Make the choice to smile instead. In the next video we uploaded we got the bag back, only gone for 24 hours or so.

Hey Team, another great Vlog, I think you two are well on the way to becoming the No 1 Travelvloggers on the tube! Looks like Bali has changed considerably since I was there in 2001. I'm taking my daughters there in October and really looking forward to it. Are there still plenty of 'cheap eats' places about like in Thailand?

Haha not sure about being no 1 - have a bout 2 million more subs to pick up before then! But the growth is nice to see, the hard work is slowly starting to pay off :) Thanks though, thats awesome of you to say. Bali definitely has developed A LOT even in the last 5 years. Lots of expensive cafes and restaurants now tailoring to tourists, you can hunt out the Warungs (local eats) but not as esy as Thailand. Depends where you are though.

I went to Bali in 2016. I regret buying the sim card. Too expensive. And I cant figured out how to activate the 4G service. I end up relying on the hotel wifi. Haha. Keep the vlogs coming. Cheers!

Usually when the airline loses your bag you can spend up to a certain amount of money (I think it's $200 usd) and they can refund you that money. Love the video btw.

If your plans are still flexible I'd definitely suggest staying in the Nusa Islands as well! The cliff views are amazing over there. Also enjoyed a day trip to La Joya Biu Biu in Jimbaran which was recommended by our Airbnb host. Private beach, awesome infinity pool with sea view. It cost 200,000 IDR for the day and was consumable so we just ate/drink that fee. Totally recommended!

Hey there my favourite couple, I’m sorry to hear that the airport messed up your luggage. I hope you were reunited with your beloved bag and the airport gave you some sort of compensation for all the inconvenience caused. The phone box fiasco with immigration was most unfortunate and the music of Drake playing on it’s own is most disturbing (probably because I’m still traumatised from watching the movie IT this afternoon) They say bad luck always comes in threes, then good luck will follow. So, you had three bad luck already. Then naturally, good luck will follow soon. Did you buy new clothes to wear while you waited for your luggage to arrive or you just wore the same clothes everyday? 😅 Anyway, enjoy your stay in Bali and I’ll catch you in the comments below... oh wait...

We were reunited the next afternoon, following a sweaty day of adventuring around Seminyak in jeans!! We definitely had our bad luck of 3's, not worth getting mad over though - still amazing times. How was IT by the way? We haven't brought ourselves round to watching it yet.

Losing a bag always sucks, but I hope it turns up. This is all the more reason why you two should go all-in on becoming carry-on only travelers. :)

Carry on only seems pretty tough haha, we're reducing down to just one bag though, that will reduce risk by 50% haha.

Down to one shared bag is certainly a first step. I have faith in you guys. 😂 Carry on only isn't so bad, but yes, it does require some planning (more laundry, either by hand or laundromats) and sacrifice (you will have fewer things), but you gain a lot of control and freedom. If both of you can get your stuff into one roller, you could certainly get your stuff into two carry on bags. Something to consider down the road. 😄
