I remember one of my first times down the ocoee in the early 00s running into Eric Jackson showing his two young kids how to surf a hole. He was the river idol then. Amazing where those kids have taken kayaking decades later!

U prob wont see this but do u think it is safe for a 15 year old to go out on the water with no one else if he knows how to roll get out of his kayak obviously and has had previous whitewater and flat water experience

I personally don’t recommend paddling by yourself no matter the skill level. I basically never do because you just never know what can happen. Plus it’s not near as fun!

Man those tiny spud boats look ridiculous. Talk about design going off the rails. When was that you could count on 2” being chopped off every design year driven by EJ’s BS marketing and folks like lemmings buying into that? 5’10” boats. 2009 or something like that? About the time LL started taking a nose dive economically? So unfortunate.
