The Cheakamus is one of the ultra classic runs in BC, for a reason because it's just a great joy section with lots of fun moves. That combined with Balls Falls which is a super easy to lap freestyle drop, it really is a gem of a section. Then when you combine it with the Clutch there are SO many sick moves and seams, making it even better!

Man that water is gorgeous. I used to look at the Upper Cheak (and walk the trail by the river) on my many trips to Whistler years ago, but at the time it was a little over my head. Exciting to see this thanks man

I've always felt the Sea to Sky is such a good area to test boats since there is so many styles of creeks and rivers all in the class 4/5 range ... 3 to 4 sections on Cheak , Callaghan , Elaho fear , 3 sections of Ashlu , Tatlow , Dipper , Soo river , Ruthiford , Cayoosh ,Hurly /Cadwallader ..... So much white water in a short distance !

so sick. how does the clutch compare with the antix??

They are pretty much on opposite ends of the spectrum. The Antix is a small ultra playful half slice, and the clutch is a full creek Boat half slice. So depending on the type of paddler you are or the things you want to do. They are very different boats.

@@danejacksonkayak I hope the Antix keeps progressing . now that the Clutch has gone more river run I'd like to see Antix 3.0 add the super loose flat spin abilty(clean 720 style ) with some kick rocker .
