yup - that is not just the fastest lap I've ever seen, it's the fastest in about 5 places. Aced Collison, mank after Pincushion, skipped into and out of Go Left, skipped thru Gas pedal and speed trap, absolutely sprinting from Nieces to the finish. That's an athletic masterpiece.

Couldn’t have happened to a better kayaker or just downright friendly guy. It definitely was a life highlight getting to recently meet Dane randomly. What person has a smile and greeting after having a car come backing up on the road with some random guy hopping out and yelling Dane F’ing Jackson? I think you must not be familiar with kayaking. It's not surprising at all that this was a winning run. Clean runs look effortless. The spread between Dane and second place was OVER 10 seconds. When do you see spreads like that in professional sports? Not often. Also considering this is the first sub four minute run, also not surprising that he won. It's never been done this fast in the race.
