So glad I saw this video. Scenario 2 is exactly what I’m have in on my boat and LED wasn’t showing any codes. Compressor doesn’t even gets hot when working like this.

I have 13 vdc,gas is fine, but...compressor starts humms for 3 sec then shuts off,cycles this way 3 sec on 1 min off 3sec on and so on ,i just wish to eliminate that stupid electronic card, i tried 3 diff ones and non keep the comp running ,do you have a schematic to hardstart the comp. To test how much amp i get on a running comp afetr a minute into cooling??

With an unbreached system ..how does the refrigerant escape?? ..mine will not cool ..compressor and fan are running fine ..I’m having a difficult time with my particular diagnosis ..further to that ..how do I add refrigerant?don’t really see any pressure plugs or caps ..

If it is overcharged just let out some gas until the suction line no longer freezes.

Is a newer Wancool control unit backwards compatible with a BD35F compressor (original unit 101N0500)? They both have FACDCPT plugs.

My Fuse keeps blowing as soon as I turn it on, also was running at high amps before this started happening. Any ideas on this issue?

If the system is 12V then the fuse should be 15A. If you immediately blow a fuse it could be that you have a dead short somewhere in the system. Use a multi meter to check the continuity across each of the pins of the compressor to confirm the resistance is less than 5 ohms. Also scratch a small area of the body of the compressor back to bare metal and again check each pin on the compressor to the bare metal to see if you have any continuity. If you do have continuity or high resistance across the pins then unfortunately you will need to replace the compressor

I've got a danfoss cr1110..not cooling the compressor is humming . the fan on the pipes and fins on back has failed . could that stop the fridge cooling.

If the compressor is running and not cooling it has a leak in the system, even if the fan is broken I would expect some cooling from a steel cage condenser. It sounds to me like you need a fridge engineer to check the refrigerant

Buy a clamp on 1/4" valve,at your united reffigeration or grainger ,clamp on add a bit of gas test with 50/50 water soap solution find leak stop,clean,sand paper ,remove pressure, epoxy hole,wait 24hrs regas,and enjoy imported beer. Dont ask questions just read 10 times
