Hi there, I diagnosed the a problem with our BD35 using the compressor link out test. I sourced a replacement thermostat in Greece. But it had 3 pins not 2 as per the existing thermostat, so I used the 2 pins that were open when the thermostat was at room temperate with the thermostat knob turned to 1/2. Now the compressor never stops, any ideas?

Hey mate I’ve got an issue where the fridge runs really well but it won’t turn off and it just freezes everything, I’ve replaced the Thermistor but could a faulty thermostat be a possible cause of it not turning off? Even when it’s set to the coolest setting it can just runs 24/7

Hi Jonathan In the first instance we suggest you check your thermostat. It should be connected to contacts C & T. If you disconnect one of these connections the compressor should switch off. Have you also checked the thermostat probe. Some probes attach to the evaporator plate (the plate that gets cold inside the fridge) some are air sensing. The probe that attached to the plate must be secured to the plate. Any further questions please contact sales@penguinfrigo.co.uk. Regards Penguin

hello, do you have picture board 101n0630 danfoss

Can I also do this check on my 24V Danfoss coolmatic 101N0210?
@Provaider19877 жыл бұрын
Yes, the hotlink only bridge the thermostat and the 101N0210 thinks you want the coldest possible temperature. The compressor run as long you got Power >10,4V.

so I did all that, linked out the thermostat, compressor running, fan running and no cool...the next step is the solenoid I assume?
@managerpenguin30844 жыл бұрын
Hi MrDwillia if you have a solenoid fitted to your capillary then yes it must be open. Otherwise the fault you describe could be lack of refrigerant or a blockage possibly ice in the capillary. If your solenoid is working, try a warm flannel on the capillary to see if the refrigerant will flow and it starts to get cold.

@@managerpenguin3084 thanks for replying. the fridge has sat in 35 degree weather for days and still no flow. How do I test the capillary solenoid? check for voltage?

I have the 101N0212 secop/danfoss model, very similar looking setup. the internal LED is blinking 2 times every so often which according to the manual, is a fault code for "Fan over-current cut-out". I isolated the fan leads and hooked them to 12V and fan runs perfectly and quietly. Is there any thing else I can do to troubleshoot? I did everything u mentioned in this video. Excellent voltage coming in.. I used the jumper (link out) wire to the T and C leads and nothing happened.

Hi Michael, Try and run the compressor with the fan unplugged. If is likely that even with the fan removed it gives a 2 flash error, as for some reason the new Secop 101N0210 controllers do this when the fault is voltage drop, which is normally a one flash error (code 1). If this is the case I recommend that you treat it like a code 1 error and thoroughly check your electrical wiring and connections. Any weak connection will cause voltage drop.

I have the same issue. Fan runs when isolated, all connections good and battery voltage is 13v. No drop at all when I switch the fridge on, no compressor running. 2 flashes on LED. Any suggestions? Replace board or replace compressor?

@@zelone9507 By the way, I did test the amperage that the fan is drawing and it only hit 0.19amps on spin up and then settled around 0.13amps which is far cry from the 0.50amp cutoff so I pretty much isolated the fan but still getting the 2 flash error light. I'm starting to think it's the board.
