How do I make it so I can just turn my heating on until it clicks with the thermostat on the wall please? I set some programmes but don’t want them on anymore and want to just turn the thermostat up as and when to turn the heating on please

How do you get it set to 24hr that it comes on every day rather than a specific day? Right now mine has Saturday and I am trying to remove it. How about setting it for Monday to Friday and then Saturday and Sunday a different setting. Is that possible? During the week I don't want it on midday. However on weekend I do. You said something about 5 + 2. How do I get that feature.

Hi, really helpful video. Thank you! We've just moved into a new flat, I've pressed the 1hr button and turned all the radiators on full but nothing is happening. We have an immersion heater and the water heating is fine but does that control our heaters? I'm happy to put it on the programme as you explained in the video if boosting it for an hour doesn't bring any radiators on. Any tips welcome. Thanks!

Hi by pressing the 1hr button should bring on the radiators. Do you have a thermostat on the wall somewhere? if so make sure its turned up! Dave

Hello! Can I ask a question.. I've moved into a new house with lots of tech. But it looks like the girls have had the boiler on and the hot water tank constantly topped up with water! I'm not sure what this thermostat controls? As we have hot an UFH system. And radiators too. Any help? Thanks.

He mentioned in the video that the midday settings are factory set to come on at 12:00 and turn off at 12:00, so if you set the time windows you don't want to turn on and off at the same time it should work.

yeah but you have to take the timer off the bracket and alter one of the switches on the back. You have to unscrew the 2 little screws under the timer then lift the timer off the back plate. On the back there are 4 tiny switches and I think off memory its the second from the bottom that you change from 7 to 5+2. Dave

Cos that's nothing to do with this device. You need to change the temp control ,which is a separate unit .

For ten years i just twisted the thermostat and turned on the hot water and heating maually by hand when i wanted it all on, and i got used to it and liked it , but an engineer came and messed about with it and i cant get it back to how i used to use it ,can anybody help me get it back to how it was please ?

Hi I’m not aware that the timer has a beeper inside it!! Are you sure it’s not a smoke alarm on the ceiling with a flat battery? Sorry if that sounds patronising but I’ve seen it before! Dave

That is possibly the service interval warning. If it is, you need to get it reset before the thing locks out completely. Is the display showing 'Ser'?

Albgangsta Gangsta hi SER stands for service and it’s just a reminder that your boiler might need a service. Try pushing a paper clip in the tiny hole that has RS next to it. This will reset the timer and might remove the SER.

@@leoking2023 You have to get a heating engineer who is gas safe registered to use his special tool to reset the Service Interval timer. There is no way for the end user to reset it. Personally, I think this feature is a darned nuisance.

as Dave shows in the video press and hold the prog button, it comes up with the year. Repeat i.e. hold the prog button down again it comes up with the time. use the + and - buttons to change the minutes . Repeat to change the hours. finally press prog button to return it to the display Have just done this and it works!
