I knew this from the beginning that something is odd at the first chapter. If you guys see Miu's drone picture of the library, you will see where Kaede placed the open encyclopedias. It was far from where Rantaro was located as they were placed at the corner of the room. If Rantaro was actually killed by Kaede, his body must be lying at the corner cuz if u observe the crime scene, we see Rantaro's body was not on the spot in which Kaede's ball fell in the first place. I really felt sad after knowing that Kaede's death was false accusation. She really deserves to live tbh.

dude i noticed that too. miu’s drone photo held so much clues that when it was never brought up in the trial i immediately got suspicious. not to mention how it was so obvious the blood splatter on the shelf wasnt anywhere near where the shot put wouldve fallen, but they didnt comment on that either. shuichi kinda sucks as a detective to not pick up on any of that

@@princessgotchi in the first trial shuichi couldn't even believe that Kaede was the killer. He also noticed that Kaede acted strange, so I don't think that he sucks as a detective. Kaede was the only one that remained by his side, he believed in her. It was a difficult moment for him, and you can see that from how he acted in the first trial...in the first scrum debate he doesn't say a word. Onestly I think that Shuichi is a detective even better of Kyoko. (I'm sorry for my bad english)

yeah if her shot killed him there would've been a blood streak on the floor where three ball would've rolled to get to that position. also, the floor was wood wasnt it? couldn't they have just checked for an impact spot?

THE FLOOR WAS WOOD?!?! 😳 I mean, i do notice that if the ball fell it will make an impact, because it doesn't matter if the floor was made out of wood or not, a heavy ball like that will definitely make a pretty noisy sound when it fell to the ground and at least make a crack on the floor according to the height of the bookshelf and Rontaro's head

Tsumugi’s constant rebuttal of “It wasn’t me!” without providing any evidence honestly made me laugh. Reminds me of how impostors get caught red-handed with zero defense lol. The only thing she’s missing is reverse accusing Shuichi

Is it just me or was it completely unnecessary that Tsumugi mentioned that she went to the bathroom for a bit when the murder was about to happen? Like, she could’ve just said she was in the dining hall the whole time and since everyone who was with her that time already died, there’s nobody to refute her lie. If so, she wouldn’t appear suspicious.

Why didn't Tsumugi just try to argue that it was Kaede after all? Before the Closing Argument, Shuichi didn't go into any detail as for how and why Kaede's ball scheme failed, he simply assumed it. Then again, maybe Tsumugi wanted to be found out after all, to instill more despair into the survivors.

The whole "birth" and "make" thing had to had sound a lot more natural in Japanese right? I would of said "Make a another Monokuma" too just like Tsumugi.

I'm pretty sure they used the word for birth in the audio. Maybe a better, and punnier, translation would have been "bear" (another Monokuma).
