I agree about visually (but I didn't watch the other games with the original japanese voices, so I don't know about her sound.) BUT visually, I think she was the most likely to look different because: They gave her yet more poses. And New and old poses had to be updated to have the stronger lighting and glossy finish of the new V3 characters' sprites. The other THH and SDR2 characters were updated on the second point (lighting and glossy finish) but (I think) have no new poses. Her having both new poses, and new lighting/glossiness/quality, makes her changes look more extreme. Plus, since even her old poses (THH and SDR2) have many style differences (jagged hair and thick lines of her angry punk pose, vs. Smooth clean lines and single ponytail of her teacher pose), those differences (which we understood before) might actually start subconciously confusing us again and magnify the effect of the actual V3 changes that I mentioned. Finally, since she is one character with so many sprites, we have more chances to look at her, notice the small changes which we may not have noticed on the other returning characters who have only a few sprites. And of course the V3 original characters haven't changed because this is their only game. So Junko stands out from everyone.

Well that is included to the plot too which means it is fictional for the universe of danganronpa v3. Like they said, the world is actually peaceful while the game/anime filled with despair are just fictional.

Please keep in mind, if what Tsumugi says is true, there are now 3 universes: the player's (real life), Hope's Peak Arc (games/LN's/anything before V3), and Danganronpa V3. While we watch or play THH SDR2 and DR3, they are "real" and connected to each other. In the universe of V3, those games and stories are fiction, just like in real life. The difference between real life and V3 is that in real life, V3 is also fiction (along with Hope's Peak Arc)... V3 doesn't invalidate the games, as long as you realize a franchise can have more than 1 universe. Not that you asked, but just saying. And if you don't believe Tsumugi, then V3 and Hope's Peak are one universe, and Hope's Peak is real in V3. Even less invalidated.

Actually I felt that you had answered the original poster perfectly already, and it was clear. But I wanted to overkill the explanation of the (possible) count of universes, just in case because I feel like I've seen it be a hidden issue before. But in reality the original poster probably could put that together, cause it comes almost directly from what you already said, and so I'm just talking to imaginary readers of the thread most of the time. I have a trail of these kinds of comments (and occasional flames) over this playthrough and the other games' playthroughs and character voice files and more... Sad
