strangely like Nagito, Taka refers to talent as though it were a genetic trait, but that clearly isn't the case, is that to imply that he is the only one who put any effort into honing his talent, clearly not sense his talent is just a perspective, but aside from the Ultimate Moral Compass, the vast majority of talents aren't aquired by slacking off, Kaede is a great example, as she is literally shown playing the piano as a toddler, emphasizing how ridiculously, young she started devoting so much time to becoming the Ultimate Pianist, a prodigy? Sure! but I played the piano in elementary school and quickly gave it up because I didn't want to put in the effort, so I wonder, what does Taka put effort into, that he thinks other Ultimates don't?

You learn in his free time events that why he doesn’t like when ppl rise to the top without any effort. Idk why you think that he doesn’t see anyone else as putting effort into things. It’s true that he doesn’t like geniuses and how easy they can do things with little effort. But he never accused any of his classmates of not putting effort into things. Even Celeste, who he knows always wins her matches effortlessly, he doesn’t lecture about it. Also, about what he would study with a talent like that. His goal is basically to create a society where ppl are rewarded by effort, not talent. So, he would probably study social studies or something to do with politics. If we’re keeping it more within his talent, he could be studying for leadership careers that are similar to his work in the public morals committee, like for example being a principal.

I feel like Taka doesn't get that some people ARE naturally good at things, but that doesn't mean they don't have to put effort into it. He thinks every genius is like Leon, the dude who is a master of baseball despite NEVER practicing. Leon is an exception, but because Taka struggles so badly with talking to people, he doesn't realize that. I feel like Taka puts effort into everything because, unlike most of the other students, he doesn't have any inherent talent whatsoever. I love Taka but he isn't that smart. Despite that, he gets the top grades in his school. He probably thinks that, because nobody else studies as hard as him and yet STILL got into Hopes Peak, they must all be lazy geniuses.

TwT I don't ship killer x victim I just started supporting this ship simply because of the Shogi thing I imagine the "Talent Development" thing to actually be what would happen in the last year if the killing games didn't happen, and ofc taking out the moments with the v3 characters. So I saw a ship of rivalty, aka, rivals ending up together (but ofc it always depends on the rivalty, cuz this one is a more friendly one) Taka, the good boy, x Celes, the bad girl, lol Imagine that no killing game happens and in the Future there's Taka giving like a political speech that gains a lot of attention, and Celes is watching, still remembering the bet they did. Then after Taka ends up finding her, she mentions that he is making advances (obviously we have to remember that as adults they would gain another view of everything, like Celes might actually start to believe that Taka could succeed and both might start to give less value to that bet), then they end up talking and everything and etc (If I continue this comment will become a fanstory XD). Like, even I used to ship Mondo and Taka (more Mondo and Chihiro tho (not a killer x victim thing -_-) or even the three lol), but then this "Talent Development" came and then I got a different view by observing their attitudes towards each other. Now I see Chihiro, Taka and Mondo more as long life friends drinking beer in the woodhouse Mondo built than all lovely dovey (Imma get sooooooo hated ;-;) I use to think way beyond lol 😅 Alr, better if I stop writing lol
