Audio might be a good way to go, optical is also very good for diesel engines. No need to divide with a two stroke. @@DangarMarine like an outboard the worst part of the job is getting the plastic covers off. i was serious about 20 min job with 18 of that being the plastic. and this isnt rocket science so theres no reason for the cost of labor they charge ,,ive replaced screens on laptops without training or manuals after the plastic its retaining screws..depending on screen 1 or 2 fluorescent light connectors and 1 ribbon connector for screen controller...usually wifi antenna in there too but not on screen but inside back lid . as for the screens if its broken you need the make and model number on the screen ..usually backside and an internet connection lol smaller older screens as low as 20$ big touch with high resolution get pricey.. its the same for flat panel tvs btw so dont throw those out until you check panel price lol .. i guess in short just try its already broken and you learn in the process ..computers arent hard just different
