Happy Sunday my friends! Seven fishermen from Newfoundland had their boat flounder and were on a life raft from Thursday until Saturday. Thank god they were rescued safe and sound. The sea can be an unforgiving mistress.

I’m glad they were all rescued safely. I knew a fisherman who was lost at sea he was only in his 20s very sad. Everyone take care be safe.

Glad to know they were safe. In New Zealand recently three fishermen died at sea, which was awful as two had been seen alive by a passing ship which tried to help, but the storm prevented any rescue. Take care out there…and wear your life jacket!

A few weeks after your Potatoes have flowered, you can harvest. Collect egg shells, crush and dry them. Sprinkle on top of your soil, the sharp edges deter snails and the shells are good for your soil. Great Job Guys!

Squash are very hungry and thirsty plants. They also need feeding once a week, tomato feed works well. One plant will also easily fill one of those pots. They grow rather large. Hope that helps. 🙂

Hi guys your planters are doing really well, if you try mixing some vaseline with salt and rubbing it around the edges of your planters it'll keep away the slugs and snails 😊❤

Trick with potato’s is the leafy greens above ground die off. That is when you harvest. You can harvest early if you’re looking for small bite size potatoes. You can store them in the dirt for a little while before they resprout, but you will want to air dry them after digging to cure the peal’s. Everything is looking amazing for your first season growing! Congratulations 💗

I LOVE Willie's painting! Our son (age 54) did several naive paintings when he was in college, and they are adstoundingly good! It's very hard to do naive painting if you have any background in drawing, but I love the style (think of Gandma Moses' paintings, which are now highly sought after). PS Your new dog's in the mail!

I quite like the piece that Willie did. In fact I collect works of red flowers in vases and pots. Something about red and terracotta that I really enjoy. Personally I enjoy a more impressionistic or abstract type of painting. Not to take away from your art at all, I think it's in a different category altogether and you are very talented.
