What an album… I happen to be the lucky few who love early and later my chem and I can’t wait to see if they’ll bring anything else out in the near future. You mentioned hesitant alien, would you want to do a video on that/Gerard’s solo career? His work’s some of my favourite music of all time.

what’s sad is Killjoys was always meant to be a comic. it was being written while on tour during the Black Parade era. i’m glad Gerard got to retell the story in his vision. i love the original run of the comic but the new version is by far superior.

i used to dislike this album but as time went on it aged like fine wine, the nostalgic cheesy teen summer romance movie of the year vibes and all of the fun funky electronic elements it had really grew on me lol. funnily enough, if it weren’t for that i also wouldn’t have gotten into the newer era of bring me the horizon around the time that’s the spirit came out and they are now my favorite band of all time till this day with their latest album nex gen being my current favorite. MCR will always have a soft spot in my heart for all the music i came to enjoy after it because of every era from bullets to danger days

honestly i fucking love this album. even if its my chems worst it is still an a+ record that stands the test of time, and its the worst album of one of the greatest bands ever imo, and its better than so much music of its time and since. while im mostly into heavy music im a huge pop fan as well so a really fresh take on guitar pop is huge for me. also its the era that was playing on the radio when i was a lass so i have huge nostalgia for it that i dont for the other records cus i was a toddler when the other albums came out. i didnt get into the band until later in life but it was so crazy to hear SING and get sent straight back to the back seat of my dads car in 2010 when that was my favorite song. edit: I WILL NOT STAND FOR PLANETARY GO SLANDER

Great video. For me, overall I'm more apathetic towards danger days(I like head banging to some of the songs and just not caring for the other songs and the concept/theme while fun just didn't leave me with an impact, younger me would probably have liked it, especially if it was a comic or show/movie). I like the more heavier sounding stuff. Too young to be part of the emo/scene wave when MCR was still touring. Somehow I missed the three cheers for sweet revenge video. It's my favorite album. Probably not a good thing that I can relate to some aspects of it. We all gonna get old, we all change/wanna change, we get burned out after a while, and in some situations wanna leave something nice for the family/next generation.

planetary (go!) is absolute fire idc idc yeah whatever it's different than their signature sound but to me it's proof they have RANGE cuz it's still a fucking banger i could dance to it for hours. never understood the danger days hate esp cuz my introduction to the mcr fandom was 2020s tumblr and danger days hate is NOT tolerated on there. it's probably my least favorite mcr album too but that's just because i really fucking love the dark and emo shit personally!!!!! but you will never catch me being a danger days hater!!!

This video prompted me to re-visit Danger Days for the first time in years. I have mixed feelings for the album. I saw them live during this tour, so of course I have love for it, I was 15, best day of my life, yada yada... I think there's some great musical ideas on there, and the concept is SO cool. I like how energetic and engaged the band clearly is. I just wish they hadn't gone with such a pop-heavy production and had instead leaned further into the more interesting influences, like punk, new wave, and noise rock. As it is, the album's sleek synth sound dates it to the early 10s and makes it sound less mature than it actually is.
