Love the video. I am a local of the Saginaw River and enjoy watching and filming the freighters that travel it. Some of this history is new to me! I would love to see a Bay City version of this!

Burt Township in Grand Marais Michigan is also named after him. If your ever in Pictured Rock National Lake shore and walk the path to the log slide, one of the placards makes mention of him..
