The name of this band was the first thing that made me get attracted to this band, as an Iraqi guy It felt interesting for me to see a Japanese band with the name of the oldest myth in the world (Gilgamesh) The first song that I listened to from them was (Border) and with just a few seconds in and I felt that this band is what I'm looking for and with time my taste in music changed and got influenced by these guys and they became my favorite band ,I still remember the time when their album Monster was released I was so happy and locked my room just to listen to the album, and there so many good memories with them but unfortunately they disbanded after 3 years of me discovering them which it was kinda hard for someone who was alone and didn't have many friends, now I listen to other bands and I admit they can be better than Girugamesh but this band will always be my favorite and had it's own special place un my heart.
