@Jon Valler Depends on the shot really, any arrow in the heart/lungs/neck/head will kill render the animal unconscious/dead before it even knows what happened. Add the adrenaline spike the animal receives and it likely feels no pain at all. It's similar to how many people who have got shot didn't even know it for awhile until their adrenaline relaxes.

Y'all are crazy, hunting has been done for years, he is going to eat this bear...... You eat the cow or pig that has been unethically killed...... They are injected with a lethal dart fired from a dart gun, and live in poor conditions that are extremely crowded and don't eat what is good for them, that lethal dart slowly kills....... A bow and arrow kills it very quickly and a bullet even more so...... Hunters do it right, if you don't like this type of video go somewhere else and watch something you do like. Rob this has got to be now my alltime favorite video!!! I know I have ask you for several years to make a black bear hunt Catch Clean and Cook video! This was awesome and that was the perfect size bear for eating. I hope you saved the bear kidney fat, it's great for frying meat. That was a little scary for a minute when he didn't back down the few times you called to him and he kept coming! I'll bet Austin got some great pictures and video on this trip! Make some chili and some Shepherd's Pie with some ground bear meat it's fantastic. Thank you again Rob for taking us along for the hunt!! It was absolutely an Epic Black bear hunt and now one of my alltime favorite video's of DMFD!! Thank you and God Bless! P.S. I'd like some info on where I go to get on of your DMFD Cutting boards.
