You could spend your whole life obsessed with this one movie and it wouldn't be a wasted life....or that's what I have to tell myself.

I saw it when I was 17 years old in Van Nuys California I still have the ticket stub from 1982 I am 59 years old and you are absolutely correct.

It would be wasted . The plot is simple and the ending is straightforward and nearly predictable. The only real mystery is : is Deckard a replicant?

Your not wrong . I''ve watched this movie hundreds of times. I'll keep watching it for the rest of my life.

18:01 incredible that this is the opening for Villenueve’s sequel. Also interesting that Ridley almost did Dune instead of Blade Runner, and Villenueve has now done Dune after Bladerunner.

I just love that the original storyboards for Bladerunner have the scene from BR2049 in them where K confronts Sapper on his farm! That's awesome

For anyone interested, the full Dangerous Days documentary runs at 3 hours 34 minutes. Unfortunately, the KZbin copyright bots won't let you upload the entirety of it.

Everyone's Michael Deeley's old friend/good friend. I read his book years ago - worth a read. He produced two of my favourite films, Bladerunner, and The Deer Hunter.

Thanks for uploading this. Love behind the scenes of my top 3 movies of all time. Also they have to include that love scene in the deleted scenes if it isn't already.

You can find a cut that has a lot added as far as the cut stuff and touched up. There hasn’t been an official though. Ridley’s final is definitive

I knew what was going on when I saw this in the theater with the voice over when it first came out. I cannot, not-like any version of this, including that one. The whole scene with the soup and the guy in the suit, was actually used in the newest version of Blade Runner 2049 with Ryan Gosling. I can pick up on these kinds of things being I am in the actors guild and did work on more modern takes of this being on HBO's 'The Wire' for 4 years. I would have loved to have been in a real movie with a real story and done film noir like this with no gratuitous sex and violence, but used it as a part of the story and plot. It's uncanny that decades later, they actually use that scene of the boiling pot and the Bladerunner sitting in the chair when he has a fight with the replicant and blows him away, taking his eye instead of lower jaw.

Frank Scott died back before Blade Runner of cancer, then Tony Scott committed suicide later in Ridley's life (for reasons unknown). No wonder Ridley was so affected by these horrible events.

Anyone else have trouble with these discs? I bought the brand new DVD version of Blade Runner Final Cut THREE TIMES, and every one of the discs either played only once or twice before failing, or they didn't play at all. One of them "Dangerous Days" plays about half way through before croaking.

I don't think that narration helped it at the box office, it was cheesy and took away from the immersion and the mystery/ambiguity of the story. Everyone seems to like the director's and final, cuts
