Dangerous Greater Seattle Neighborhood - Everett

I love my hood I grew up here. But It’s getting way worse. I can’t stop hearing gunshots at night it’s kind of annoying

Click bait. This is just a little drive through and around Downtown and Riverside district - the latter being like a smaller SOHO, but with FAR fewer zombies than Seattle or anywhere south of Shoreline/Seattle. Everett isn't THAT bad - yet, but it has gotten worse. Been here 30 years. It's noticeable - and is Over Flow from Seattle. Swift Bus lines have made it worse, allowing easy transit from Seattle to Everett for zombies. I see lots of them at 41st and Evergreen using the bus stop, which is very close to the Mission - a magnet for them. Police fenced off the underpass, which became a national image for Everett Homeless, Inc. for years. It's cleaned up now and patrolled, but the zombies are now dispersed everywhere. On some corners, you can see people yelling at the sky or screaming at cars. But the cops come pretty quick and take them somewhere - I don't know. Back to the Seattle City Limits , I hope.

Everett is not even close to a "dangerous city". For its population of nearly 150,000, it is quite low key. Maybe looking at a place like Renton, Tacoma, or Shoreline would have fit better.

White Center, South End of Burien, Lake City Way even, Tacompton, MLK Jr. Blvd in the South-end, Federal Way (International Blvd.)

These are the good parts of everett casino road, evergreen and the area by north middle school are much worse if you want to see junkies and crazies but the jackson park area is full of shootings and gangs

Looks like the older part of an average American city... and way nicer than such places here in KC. No boarded up houses / obviously abandoned buildings, very little grafitti or gang tagging, no streetwalkers, no groups of young (and not so young) men hanging around street corners [oddly few pedestrians altogether]. There's barely any vehicular traffic, too. Exactly how is this neighborhood so dangerous? I've lived in places in the suburbs that had more action than this 24/7/365.

I live in the millcreek area but drugs and nutcases are everywhere keep your guard up. There some people who are nice but they have a hard time Trusting i but understand there point.
