Our governments should work with community churches and come up with hydroponic farms and vocational programs for these youth after they surrender. Our government need to wake up from their long slumber and start helping our youth

These are symptoms of the last days of a sick country. The malaise affecting the country from all sides, from corruption, crime, overpopulation, famines, hunger, diseases, violence, environmental degradation....no country on earth can handle such malaise all occurring at the same time and still survive. The threat is existential and didn't start yesterday, it's as old as the country. The nucleus can be traced back and attributed to several factors, least of which is the inconsiderate and haphazard formation of the colonial state that brought together a collection of tribes without a binding affinity or relationship to each other, the violence and hatred perpetrated to, and by the inhabitants, and even the unpreparedness of the people for independence and self administration after barely fifty years of being dragged from a stone age culture into the twentieth century by an imperial power. If a miracle doesn't happen, Kenya faces the risk of extinction.

The problem is bigger in the sense that without rehalibitation...you! Or your friend or family stand to be hit one day. You could be driving or a passenger..or just a pedestrian. He is on the streets as a result of rehalibitation. You had the police spokesperson wondering what the jobless youth who have surrendered their weapons are going to do next. Yoy heard him say it's a situation of a rock and a hard place.
