The nucleus can be traced back and attributed to several factors, least of which is the inconsiderate and haphazard formation of the colonial state that brought together a collection of tribes without a binding affinity or relationship to each other, the violence and hatred perpetrated to, and by the inhabitants, and even the unpreparedness of the people for independence and self administration after barely fifty years of being dragged from a stone age culture into the twentieth century by an imperial power. If a miracle doesn't happen, Kenya faces the risk of extinction.
