Love the content. Be careful with that attitude of not checking the safety of something before jumping in to it. My brother was the same way, he would often tell us “I don’t worry about damage I just go for it and see what happens”. 6 years ago he entered a mud hole in the Sierra Nevada mountains and his truck hit a sink hole and slid left, he was roughly 16 feet from the edge but the white area gave way and the last time I saw him was when he was being buried. Pride and bravery is great but always remember nature will do what she wants and when she decides to ask you can do is hope you’re prepared.

I had a 2nd generation 4Runner. Put over 250k miles on it and still ran like new. Unfortunately the body rotted away. We live in New England with a lot of salt on the roads in the winters. I just bought a new forerunner last week which is black and shiny I don’t wanna take it off road and scratch it 😀. However this summer we do plan to take it on the beaches in Cape Cod.

I just came by those video and I miss offroading so much. Great souvernirs with great people. OffRoading in Quebec is really awesome, except that we can't cross running rivers... preserving nature and what not... I see you guys are struggling with traction sometimes. Here's 2 tricks I've learn from offroading with the Club Jeep Montreal ... 1) swing your steering wheels side to side. When you're loosing traction, sometimes you're just beside the right spot, by doing so you have more chances of hitting that right traction spot. it helps a lot. 2) deflate your tires. The difference in traction when you deflate your tire is huge. Depending of the kind of tire you use, you can deflate your tire a little or a lot. I remember at one point running some Mickey Thompson baja MTZs and I would deflate them all the way down to 8 psi ... I had a Jeep Wrangler sahara JKU 2010 and it's pretty intense to see how a well deflated tire becomes a rock crawling beast ... I enjoy watching your videos.. thanks a lot man !
