The boys are in for one crazy wet and wild adventure through far North Queensland’s Daintree Region! 🌴 Their mission to re-open a Cape York track that hasn’t been driven in 60 years! They’ll drive through muddy creeks and winch down a local’s driveway in the pouring rain but what will happen when they lose the track?
15% off everything at TruFit, use code EOFY15 at checkout - 3dmats.com.au/
This is the wettest Far North Queensland has been in years, so it’s safe to say the boys have their work cut out for them. With multiple river crossings, dense forests and tracks you can barely see, this will be one action-packed adventure!
WIN the ULTIMATE Raptor kit just by commenting below a time your rig needed some Raptor! 🦖

One thing in common is our daily commute in rural area in Malaysia is as hard as these route and I'd love to show you guys how bad the track is during monsoon. I'd be grateful for the raptor as I'm currently restoring my Toyota LN106, one that I used to bring food supplies to the Native people in the remote area almost daily. G'day!

Hey guys, I’m Hemi, 16 year old from North Queensland, I’m currently doing up my own old 79 series and painting it in raptor coat, me and dad love going on fourbie trips around and about and we could’ve definitely used raptor coat over the last few trips we’ve done! Branches and china apple bushes just seem to be attracted to the paintwork, dad can’t wait for my Ute to be done so we don’t have to keep scratching up his!, raptor would definitely save my panels in the near future and would greatly be appreciated!. Thanks boys, can’t wait for the next one 👌

Love the episode boys 👌🏽 that raptor coat would come in handy to redo my bar a brush bars, was out on a fourby when I first got my licence fresh 18 year old in his first car ahah a mate of mine got bogged in front of me and I trusted the other guys that we were with to hook up the recovery gear, learnt my lesson pretty quick to hook up any sorta recovery on my Ute myself cause they put it on my bullbar and said to send it so I did as they said and ended up ripping my bullbar half way off and bending one of the bars a little and cracking the powder coat which as now flaked off and surface rust has formed so yeah that’s my one and only big mess up on the tracks 😬 raptor coat would be nice and handy

I don't think I've enjoyed one of your adventures more than this one. I was invested in every minute of this trail restoration. Ah, and finishing up at my old 'local'. It was 35km one-way drive to The Den from home. Before they cleaned up and laid bitumen down from Bloomfield, up the range to the Mulligan, it would take 45 minutes to an hour or so to get there, depending on the condition of the road, so picking up takeaways was a mission that usually ended up with us sleeping in the car because you can't stop at The Den and not have a beer or two and a catch up with the other locals. After the road was done, it was a 20-30 minute drive, depending on how well you knew the road. Luxury!

It basically goes to show that most of the upgrades meatheads throw on their rigs are completeness unnecessary. One of the greatest scams sold to the average Aussie is that you need a Toyota and $30k worth of custom bolt ons and gear. Pretty hilarious once you get to Cape York and see the only clowns there with heavy rigs with every possible accessory are people from down south.

Pretty normal really. You are aware diff locks didn't become fashionable until 10-15 years ago? Until popularised by the media people would spend money on useless shit. A Jeep TJ would have crawled it without a diff lock as well, so would a Nissan Patrol of the era.

You're in my stomping ground! Oh, this is going to be fun. Trivia: In 1982 I walked from the North end of Cape Trib beach to Bloomfield via an old bama trail that was eventually dozed in the 60s as a stock route for cattle from the Bloomfield area to be driven down to the Daintree for shipping to Cairns. In 1984, that trail would become what the Bloomfield Track would roughly follow. Oh, and I walked the CREB track back in '82 as well. That was a two day walk...three if you count my camp-out at Gold Hill. I haven't watched this full video, but I know PJ and I reckon I think I know what track you guys are going to clear. I used to live up Bloodwood Road, and there was an old trail that ran up behind and through the range to Shipton's flat (kuku ngungkal country) near our property. I guess I'd better watch this and see where you go.

Awesome episode guys. Always a fantastic mix if fun, inspiration, good advice and showing off some good gear. I'm keen to paint my D22 Navara with Raptor Coat. Last time I took her through the bush to rescue my mate on his 450 dirt bike, I had to drive some super narrow tracks (because they're motorbike tracks), I scored some pretty nasty scratches. Good result though, had some fun and picked up my mate and his bike.

Love watching the Gu patrol send it. Really could of used some of the Raptor stuff on my patrol the other week. Scratching up the old patrol going through Munja camp in the remote Kimberley region.
