You blokes should go look for the crashed WW2 B24 bomber called “Little Eva”. Theres no tracks going to it and is a forgotten part of Aus History. It crashed near Burketown, Queensland.

One thing in common is our daily commute in rural area in Malaysia is as hard as these route and I'd love to show you guys how bad the track is during monsoon. I'd be grateful for the raptor as I'm currently restoring my Toyota LN106, one that I used to bring food supplies to the Native people in the remote area almost daily. G'day!

The Curtis Track in the Otways, VIC, about three months ago, began closing in on us early in the piece, with a decent dose of pin striping on both sides, until we got to the end and found the gate locked! Turn around and do it all again. Double pin striping! A Raptor coat would have been ideal instead of staring down the barrel of a respray.

I don't think I've enjoyed one of your adventures more than this one. I was invested in every minute of this trail restoration. Ah, and finishing up at my old 'local'. It was 35km one-way drive to The Den from home. Before they cleaned up and laid bitumen down from Bloomfield, up the range to the Mulligan, it would take 45 minutes to an hour or so to get there, depending on the condition of the road, so picking up takeaways was a mission that usually ended up with us sleeping in the car because you can't stop at The Den and not have a beer or two and a catch up with the other locals. After the road was done, it was a 20-30 minute drive, depending on how well you knew the road. Luxury!

Pretty normal really. You are aware diff locks didn't become fashionable until 10-15 years ago? Until popularised by the media people would spend money on useless shit. A Jeep TJ would have crawled it without a diff lock as well, so would a Nissan Patrol of the era.

Great vid as always. I have one thing to critique. You said you don't cut living trees. But, you cut the roots of the living trees..... Seems safe passage of the obstacle is more critical since those trees you left will get more significant and damage future trucks.

For the raptor! I’ve got a custom made canopy on my d22 and it’s made out of steel and aluminium, and I’ve decided to coat it in something similar to raptor but cheaper and taking out in narrow slots in places like Colbrook resivour and Creswick claypits, I’ve ripped up the coating on my canopy, sloppy driving on my behalf as well as a cheap coating on my canopy, would be awesome to get the real thing!

Took my nice new Ranger out for the first time years back, but typically, under estimated the turning circle with the old 35's on her. Nice big scratches down the passenger front and rear doors, battle scars from the get go! Some tight squeezes thru the trees are just not a good idea, especially with the handbrake on board! Been looking at respraying, and that Raptor gear looks the go to fill in those gouges. Glad to see you finally catch a fish on film mate (you musta taken some good advise at the 4wd show over here in WA LOL Wink Wink).

The old winchless d 22 navara had a rough time on a track on one of my mates property’s, my wheels got stuck in loads of clay type dirt, and obviously without a winch I couldn’t get pulled out, I then leaned up against a tree and did major panel damage and ended up with a massive scratch along the side of the car, its still there now and yeah that’s why I needed raptor. 😬
