@@dhrlh they spiked him same thing but taking out tires won't stop any vehicle slows them down makes them hard to control and given long enough will stop it but that truck has heavy duty steel rims so it probably would have been able to keep going for a while if he didn't hit other cars hitting the other cars is what stopped him looks like he hit the one car on the driver side then that took out that whole wheel and rim broke tie rod or something and he had no steering and could only go left after that. also shooting tires is hard and could ricochet and hit someone. could they have shoot at the trucks radiator sure but again unless they hit a critical engine component it wouldn't stop it immediately and it's more then likely a diesel and those don't overheat that quickly so the chase would have been over well before it overheated. also back to the shooting the tires its a dually so shooting the rear inside tires would be mostly impossible . Yes I'm a carnut and have been my whole life I'm 36 so if you have anymore suggestions on how to stop it safely? Stopping the threat is supposed to be the course of action .. instead, they put out the red carpet for him to leasurely drive by, after they had him cornered in, and allowed him to crash into even more innocent people driving. Just makes no sense. It could have been stopped sooner.

Did anyone see any racehorses? At around 13:40 she said...and how many cars and racehorses was used for just this one truck...

I certainly hope these innocent people are ok and were all insured. He caused lots of damage and didn't care.

Hey, just a heads up, driving a stolen car isn't just risky, it's downright dangerous and illegal. Trust me, the thrill isn't worth the potential consequences. Do the right thing and get out of that situation ASAP. Your future self will thank you for it. 🚔

I'm convinced they could have already had him in the last cul-de-sac. Could have boxed him and could have used strips. Re-train the police please. He had to have hit and ploughed through 10 cars. 50 years in prison! And what about the people in those cars? Any deaths or severe injuries? Maybe life in prison.

Cops wanted play nice thinking he might surrender. But he didn't get that message. I seriously wonder if he's still alive.

He hit spikes at 6:32 in the video and you said yourself he ploughed through multiple cars so how could they box him in safely? also don't think he hit any cars hard enough to kill anyone or even cause severe injuries the last SUV at the end was the hardest hit and if they had their seat belts on they should walk away

You are your own first responder. That vehicle was too big for police to handle and they gave a great deal of ground to the suspect.

For those wondering those trucks are like tanks. I'm not sure spikes would have worked.
