Meringspoort, sits between Klaarstroom and De Rust. in the WC Definitely an advanced drive for trucks, easy to clip oncoming traffic and have to deal with impatient drivers wanting to overtake. Salute to all the good truckers out there.

The N1 is very notorious for accidents between Lainsburg and Beaufort West. I plowed through a accident on the N2 just 20km outside of Heidelberg on my way to Mossel Bay. Scary stuff but mainly because the car didn’t slow down enough and it was raining and I mean like proper rain and the roads were slippery and you couldn’t see so far in front of you aswell .

It is, not even close to dangerous, i drove here countless times going to Mosselbay. Try the Sani pass

@@subwaysurfer5378 : true, remember i accidents occur even on smooth straight roads.. from 2015 doin up and downs on that exact road i never had any nor seen horrible accidents. Even on the robinson pass, not so many accidents

This looks like Meirinngspoort. Travel from Oudshoorn to De Rust and then you get Meiringspoort - on the way to the N1, Baufort West.
