To all those people saying that Tiffany sang it better than Ariana... uhm... I know that she may be your bias, but let's be objective here!! Ariana's voice is not strained (like Tiffany's), it's open and Ariana's range is WAAYYY larger! Tiffany has a unique singing style, but her singing technique is nothing compared to Ariana's! If we are just talking about singing, Ariana is way above Tiffany. However, if we're talking about personality, then I'd pick Tiffany over Ariana any day!

In the end judging by skill is reserved to a small percentage of people, most people don't care as long as you reach the note and look impressive (Ari strains through the majority of her songs just as much as Tiffany). I think Tiffany did a lot better than Ari, simply because she has a thicker, stronger tone that fits the song better. Ari has a much thinner tone and doesn't ever enunciate... Also if you're talking about skill, Tiffany isn't actually far behind. Considering that Tiffany continues to improve and Ariana has only been regressing. Ari struggles with support anywhere above C5 (note that when she was younger, she used to have resonant notes in C5-D5 area, but nowadays she has regressed significantly). All those notes are heavily strained. And that whistle register she's famous for isn't consistent at all, she tends to settle between a very pushed head voice and a scream. Tiffany however is fairly consistent up to Bb4 and has recently supports up to C5-C#5 recently with occasional resonance. Her head voice is competent and consistent, but her range is obviously not as large as Ari's. And lastly their low notes are both supported up to F#3-G3. That said, try not to fall into propaganda. Just because Ariana is famous for her high notes doesn't mean that they are supported let alone resonant. Though she has her moments, her voice isn't more "open" and to me, her "WAAYYY larger" range doesn't really matter since it's not her supported range. Ariana is better technically, but really, not by much :)
