The Rarest Events In Stardew Valley

These are the rarest events in Stardew Valley! From the once a year type events to basically never even seen and everything in between, don't miss your opportunity to see some of these events. Even after countless hours of gameplay I rarely see some of these and some I haven't seen yet! If anyone out there knows more about these or if others exist, let me know! The Rare capsule actually happened to me on my multiplayer farm. At first, we thought we were gonna have to fight it once it got out, but now we just see a shadow by the bus stop from time to time. Scares the shiz outta me everytime.

1.5 Update has seriously increased the rates of events. On my current playthrough I got stone owl on year 1 and a second on year 3 I think. Got capsule on the same file.

I had a wedding occur at the same time the Crop Fairy came in a multiplayer game with friends. This caused a bug in which I had a wedding happening at night. So a night wedding could be another rare event.

I remember having a U.F.O fly across my shipping screen on my first spring, and after that there was a crop fairy cutscene. I had only had the game for about 3 days (Irl days) and just thought it was connected and everyone experienced it.

I recently played a game with the forest farm playthrough and kept the two areas with the hardwood that respawns fairly untouched and inhabited by my tapped trees and the stone owl appeared there! I was like wtf is that and planted fruit trees around it as an offering lol. I can't say I know what triggered it, but it seems being a friend of the forest might. Worth a test!

ahhh the stone owl spawned in my game !!! i didn’t realise it was rare and moved it next to grandpas shrine. i have no idea why it spawned ,, but i do remember an owl flying by my farm late at night before i found the statue.

you might've read the comments already, but the odds of both strange capsule and stone owl were fixed, because they weren't supposed to be that rare. it was a topic of debate in the subreddit about whether we should stop posting about it because everybody started getting the events.

Hi DF I actually have the rare stone owl on all my stardew valley play through. I have 7 play through and I seem to get the stone owl from the owls shadow flying across my farm and a hooting noise only at night. Then the next morning it's on my farm. As for the alien cap I got 2 of those and they showed up like the meteorite, instead of some crashing noise on the farm u hear alien weird noises instead. Love ur vids 🙂👍

the rare capsule popped up on my farm about two years ago and i didn’t even know it was rare until i looked it up and found absolutely NOTHING about it. i thought my game was just bugged. i was even at my brother’s place when it happened, and when it busted open i got a weird garbled call on my phone. my brothers gf was a bit freaked out by it thought my save would’ve been screwed up 💀

I know this video is 4 years old but I had to share this. My sister was playing on the PS4 and actually had the capsule spawn on her farm (idk how she got it considering all the animal coops and stables she has) she was really confused and was too scared to touch it. She was even more scared when the capsule broke. So like a good big sister, I told her an unbeatable hostile monster was loose on her farm and she could be attacked at any moment. Now she has been preparing for war. I’m a great sister :)

I have actually seen the rare capsule on my first save on xbox1 within the 7 years/160hrs of game time. However, with my most recent play through on PC w/mods almost to year 3/60hrs of game time...I have still yet to see it. Although, I couldn't tell you what my 1st farm looked like, but after that...I ended up seeing an ufo fly through after completing one of my days.

I've been playing since like.. from ver 1.3 or something, and believe me.. those events mentioned above are super rare at that time that u might only see it once or twice
