@Cody Combs Not exploitation! Evolution. There's things in real life that live by not moving, like plants. That's the great thing about this game. question, so far all I have seen on youtube is that players place on these sunlight powered glucose producing things. they (spike viper and this person) both act as if they are becoming plants (albeit with more spikes). Is this currently the only way to become a self sufficient cell that dosn't need the glucose clouds, or are there other more exotic processes planed to be implemented so that this is not the only strategy employed? (I do not know science, nore game design, but I seem to think that all of life dose not contain this single strategy of utilizing the sun, so what else dose nature use instead, and could these stratigese be utilized in the game (or are they there already)? also, it seems kind of strange that the only viable strategy at the moment incentives you to head twords the light and become a plant and not some thing else (why not some processes that would let you stay at the steam vent? why not something that would alou you to specilise into each biome and become self sufficient instead of just relying on sunlight?) thank you.)
