When we were kids, we called those hissing sounds coming out of a hollow amidst rocks the dragon's lair, and the sound was the dragon's breath. So scary thrilling! The marshy bogs we thought the dragon made to trap us for an easy meal. Didn't care about the mess...just didn't want to be et (eaten)!!! Knew Scott would share that sandwich ♥ Love it when you two laugh!!! Contagious!!! We're all laughing now!!! Thank you for cleaning up the cemetery and for remembering the people ... the children and all. Thank you for sharing your explore. It would be good to take a little sack along with a length of paracord , a pruning shear or sheath blade and a small folding saw . It could come in handy on explores. Good that you had the sturdy walking stick. So peaceful there and lovely music to match. Maybe at least a Swiss Army knife with a lot of options should a problem arise. That graveyard may be so old that the locals did not know written language at all, and simply knew who was buried where by the shape of the headstone and by oral history. And thanks for tidying the place up.

Just a quick one that I think might help you out with chainsaw sharpening.There is a two in one chainsaw sharpener made by Stihl that makes the job a lot quicker and sharpens perfectly.Only thing is if you do get one make sure it is for your particular size chain.nb a few videos of this device on you tube.

When you talk of 'but and ben,' this was common in Scotland as the houses were small . The words are still used today. 'But ' is the front of the house and 'ben' the back. Common to say someone is ' ben the hoose'.

At first I was just watching as they appeared on KZbin but it really was so out of order it was confusing. Now, I understand so much more. I love your humour. That bog was almost like quicksand. I was afraid Scott was going to be swallowed right up. Katie you're the smart and careful one, you don't bull your way through the obstacles. Love all the history there, but it seems like even buildings of rock and stone have an expiration date. I remember as a kid in New England, we would come across old structures in the woods. I loved hearing the Hebrew words used to understand the But/Beit and Ben structure. I have Scottish heritage on my dad's side. For some reason I have been drawn into thinking about the fact that Jesus/Yeshua lived on earth as a Jewish Person. I study Hebrew for this reason and try to contemplate what His life was like and what He wanted our lives to be like in this time. I am interested to know more about the Hebrews in Scotland. There is so much to enjoy watching you two explore. It was really interesting seeing the ancient grave yard. Would it have been a community burial place or just an extended family plot? I could not imagine a more fantastic place for picnic, then sitting on the wall of a hand built home from long ago. I need to tell you, how wonderful it is to see the 'views' and 'like' numbers spinning round, at some speed, as your video continued. Adam McNaughten, who wrote The Jeely Piece Song, was my English teacher in the early 70s. I remember him as a lovely man 😊 He used to burst into Scottish songs during class and we all had to suppress our giggles. Nevertheless, he one of those special teachers who left a lifelong impression ❤
