Could explain why Godzilla seemed a lot more feral and aggressive in GvK than 2014 or KotM. A Kong that resurfaces, Ghidorah (seemingly) not dead, and out of allies because of Mothras death in KotM, would probably spike Godzillas stress and paranoia through the roof at that point

This was a well built hypothesis to why the Gojira and Kong Titans came into conflict with each other. Considering what inferences we are able to make from the lore of the Monsterverse, it makes sense that besides the group that sought to conquer the titans, neither the Iwi/Kongs nor Gojira and their human counterparts were actually responsible for the fighting. It was all an unfortunate series of circumstances that simply broiled out of control before either parties could cool off and say "enough". Coupled with the Muto Prime tearing through the Gojira population behind the scenes for hundreds of thousands of years, the Gojira may have also been put on edge because of that and were quick to direct their animosity toward the Kongs because of this as well.

Atlantis (at least the idea) has already been done. Atlantis was most likely the sunken city that Godzilla retreated to in KOTM which was then blown away buy a nuclear bomb.

From other little cave painting that you guys have even shown it is possible Space Godzilla was the reason for the war. It is entirely likely that the Godzilla's and Kong's teamed up on Space Godzilla and that the battle was recorded on cave walls but as time went on some of the markings were broken off leaving a partial tale that lead the younger Kongs to believe the Godzilla's where evil.

Oh, I would love to see an animated TV series about the Titan War from how the war started and how it ended witness through the eyes of some of the Human characters of the animated series, and the series should begin with the first episode about how some Monarch Agents discovers the Titan War Records within some still intact ancient ruins of an technologically-advanced Hollow Earth civilization while exploring the Hollow Earth with Kong, and those ancient ruins would that of an technologically-advanced city that has been mysteriously abandoned for some reasons unknown, but left so much technological Hollow Earth artifacts behind that Monarch would take back to the surface and have them reverse engineered which would lead to the creations of Jet Jaguar, the second Mechagodzilla, Kiryu, Mecha-King Ghidorah, and other Mechas within the MonsterVerse.

My personal thoughts were that a group of young Kong found a Godzilla in the hollow earth, and attempted to hunt it only to bring their deaths. When other Kongs found the battlefield/corpses they assumed it was the Godzilla that attacked first, “retaliating” and killing it. This would then spark the two species to almost always attack each other on site and then, war.

I would like for Legendary to actually go into a deep dive into the ancient past and the Godzilla and Kong war in a film rather than have it be all crouched under extra source materials and fan theories. We still as of yet even delve into Godzilla’s character like we already did with Kong and I still hope Legendary does get to working on that and the back bone about Godzilla’s species in the MV.

Yes realistically godzilla will never show the same level of emotion as kong but godzilla's emotions are pretty human like and understandable for the most part. The fact toho won't allow godzilla to emote is a stupid rule and shows the current people in charge more than likely forgot or don't understand godzilla as a character fully. It's no wonder why shin gojira godzilla earth and godzilla ultima all feel the same in some parts all 3 godzillas not having much of expressive personalities just being highly aggressive animals. I'm still very curious to know about godzilla's own childhood and how he lived back in his younger days. Now all we can do is hope Michael dougherty keeps his promise on a godzilla bc film

My fan theory, the Gojira alpha (known as a Shin) sought to rid the world of these “lesser” titans, who were defiant enough to refuse to bow down to the planets true rulers. The Shin Gojira led a massacre of the Kongs until they began to fight back, the war brought both species to near extinction. In the end, a group of Gojira turned on the Shin, locking him away in a hollow earth tomb created by the Kongs, were he remains to this day waiting for the day when he will be free to rain destruction on the world, and those who betrayed him…… Godzilla vs Shin Godzilla.

Sorry if I'm reading too much into this...but that's a *really* fascinating juxtaposition of how to look at Godzilla and Kong as different species Godzilla represents old world religion - putting our faith in a "higher power" totally beyond our comprehension. He's lived for hundreds of millions of years, rules land AND sea etc Kong on the other hand represents modernism - a more recent evolution all about shaping the world how YOU see fit. I thought the war between the two started when Kong's kind first arrived and Godzilla's kind fear there intelligent. Ghidorah’s arrival on earth put the war on hold. Kong's kind hid on skull island while Godzilla fought King Ghidorah and Dagon fought Muto Prime at the same time.

I think all the human factions are a little far-fetched. But I totally agree that the Kongs threatened the balance just by existing and trying to live their lives. The same way we did in the real world. It's just that in the monsterverse, nature had an active rol in protecting the status quo (godzillas). While in our world there was none that could oppose us, only the neanderthals could, and they even they failed quite early. Following this idea there might've been at some point different kinds of Kongs, or even Godzillas.

I know this isn't likely possible, but I would love to see a live action series based on these Hollow Earth societies and the Godzilla/Kong titan war. Only reason I don't see it happening is because the amount of CGI it would take would be insane, the budget would potentially be huge. However I could slide with a 2D animated series that's in the same universe go about this lore, it's very interesting, and I think it could draw more people in. Basically like an anime on the lines of CastleVania or however this Skull Island anime that is coming out some time soon or later

I have a simple theory, cause it may or may not be true. I believe some of the Gojirans (which I like to call the Godzilla species) felt that the planet should be theirs to rule and became hungry for more strength, power and above all, Supremacy. They chose the Kongs to be the first to submit to them, but that was not until the Kongs managed to come up with a way to counteract with them. That was when they take down a Gojiran, they peel the skin off, take the dorsal spike off their backs and forged a battle axe; a weapon that absorbs the affects of an atomic ray and makes it more deadly and powerful. No neither the Kongs or Gojira are at fault. The third party humans of were the one at fault. If the Gojira city wasn’t attacked which caused the fear and mistrust the Kongs and Gojira would have naturally adapted to each other. Creating a relationship similar to Mothras and Gojira. In end the humans of the third party disturbed the natural flow. The humans that had a positive relationship with the Gojira and Kongs were content with following nature’s lead.

I don’t blame Kong for causing the war since he was born on Skull Island, and he assumed Godzilla as a threat since he discovered the war, but didn’t know his kind caused it. And because Kong’s species were ‘too intelligent’ to fit in the Titan ecosystem, this causes them to kill and enslave wildlife the same way we do, especially Native Americans before Christopher Columbus’s arrival where we thought they were peaceful but they’re actually as equal as the Europeans since they terraformed North America and killed off most of the Megafauna. Even King Ghidorah did the same thing, only way worse than this.

it isnt its the kongs fault godzilla ruled the world but the kongs came and took the hollow earth from them so the godzillas attacked back and started draining the hollow earth with water thats why the humans didnt detect the high radiation there but all the years the water went away

This is what I think. Both Godzilla and Kong's species got on well. Then a unknown threat appeared (either another race of kaijus or something else) and they all teamed up in order to fight it. But then the threat unleashed some sort of hallucination attack which cause both Kong and Godzilla's species to attack each other.

I do feel like there were some savage goijira. Like berserker goijira who were so violent and bloodthirsty that that had became even more of a threat than the calm goijira. The savage giant reptiles skin was changed to chunks of red from their enemies blood. The Kongs feared the savage monsters because they had killed so many before being brought down. One of these savage beast's followed the Kongs to skull island and there the goijira had maid a mutual friendship with the skull crawlers and that savage goijira was known as many things the red angel,the world eater,the prime of death. This giant was braught down by every Kong attacking him at once before multiple Kongs grabbed there axes and slammed each and every single axe into the beast's chest and head.

I think that Ghidorah came to the hollow earth looking for the energy source. He thought that the kongs might have it so he attacked them, but failed and had to retreat back to the surface. The Kongs thought it was the Gojiras and waged war. After lots of time, when both species were almost extinct, Godzilla figured out the cause and went to get revenge on Ghidorah for desecrating his home. Some humans were still around so they helped him along Mothra and other titans. They came out of hollow earth and battled with Ghidorah losing. He fled and they played a cat and mouse game for years. After some time Ghidorah wanted another shot at the energy source and decided to enter through Antarctica, knowing that it was basically a wasteland and that he would encounter little to no resistance. Godzilla and his allies caught him before he entered and beat him, somehow pinning him down and freezing him with Scyllas liquid nitrogen.The kongs who survived moved out of the hollow earth and went to skull island, along with the iwis (I think that’s how you spell it.) The gojiras that survived stayed in the hollow earth and eventually devolved into the lizard we see in gvk. In gvk, Godzilla senses a kong after all these years and sets out to wipe the species that almost killed of the gojiras from the face of the earth.

What if kong species expansion in the hollow earth causing imbalances in the ecosystem. Kong species reproduce quick and almost become invasive species. They kill other titan as food source and use their remains to craft weapons or tools. Conflict happened when they enter Godzilla territory triggering the war. Unlike other titan, Godzilla is a tough opponent to bring down thus Kong seeing them as a serious threat to their kind.

Movie idea.... Humans develop portal tech in an attempt to access the hollow earth as they please, motivation could be to harness the energy down there.... They open a portal but the fucked up gravity conversion yadda yadda science etc accidentally sends some scouting mission back to when the war breaks out. Easy prequel... destruction of atlantis, brutal war, monsters.... build in a sequel of some creature coming back through the time rift with our heros when they figure out how to get back.... ...you're welcome
